She had said goodbye to her youngest sons that night, holding them in her arms and crying as she realized there was a chance she would never see her boys again, but keeping them safe was her top priority. They would go to Pentos, to the Princes of Pentos, Daemon's friend, as foster children until Rhaenyra would take the throne. She didn't want to show weakness, to anyone, not even Daemon, and so she stood atop the wall and watched as her sons Jacaerys and Lucerys handed over their brothers. Rhaenyra wiped a tear from her cheek. She wouldn't cry. She wouldn't show any weakness. She would fight and she would win. She would be strong for her family. For her sons, her lord husband and for Aemma.

She would bring back all of her children and rule the Seven Kingdoms, as it always should have been.

Rhaenyra heard the shrieks and roars of the dragons. Jacaerys had suggested attacking King's Landing with as many dragons as possible and she had agreed. She had wanted to protect her kingdom and condemn as few souls to death as possible, but the Greens gave her no choice. They had six riderless dragons and Daemon was gathering men and women to find possible Dragonseed's who could ride a dragon against the Greens.

Because everyone knew that only a descendant of true Valyrian blood could fly a dragon.
