Chapter 13.5: Objected

ZACK

"Andi!". I heard Sophie calling Andi's name but why? I know she's not he-

I almost froze where I was standing when I saw Andi's figure. She was really here, I immediately followed Sophie as she ran in her direction.

It chased Andi.

I don't know if I will follow or not. "Zach what's wrong?". dad asked noticing that Sophie had left.

"Is Andi here?". I asked for an answer.

"Yes, actually she called earlier-". I didn't finish what dad was going to say because I quickly followed Sophie.

I don't plan to tell her what's happening yet because I don't want her to feel bad. I'm in a situation where business is being discussed, I know she won't understand right away and I don't want her to interfere.

Sapat ng ako lang, wag na siya.

Even though we're in a same grade but she's younger than me.

Kanina ko pa sila hinahanap, there's too many guest and I have to act and fix myself infront of them.

Where did they go?

"Andi!". I heard Sophie's voice.

I was about to head down the hall when I was stopped hearing her voice again. "Let me explain".

I turned to my right and saw these two. Sophie's holding Andi's hands while the latter only looks at her.

I called as I approached them and she looked up at me. I removed Sophie's hand that was holding Andi.

"let's talk". I said pulling her arm.

"Don't touch me". She answered as she removed her arm. "What is this all about?".

"let's talk inside". I answer.

Now, I'm afraid of her. It's not like her usual to tease me  because this is a serious situation.

"Are you really dating? Because I don't believe!". And she screamed

"Andi- Mali ka ng iniisip-". I hold Sophie's hand and look at her.

"Go to the car, I'll get you back there". I said. She's worried, I can see it in her eyes. "Go ahead".

She didn't want to leave at first but I forced her. I don't want her to empathize with the problem I got into. When it left I faced Andi.

"Please, Hear me out".

"You better have a good reason for this".

I'm glad that atleast she wants to hear my side. I looked around before starting to speak. We are now outside, I can't think of any other place here that is empty because we are almost full of visitors.

I took a deep breath before starting to speak.

"WHAT THE HELL?!". This scream surprised me.

"Can you lower your voice? maybe someone can hear you". I said.

"Let's talk about this later". She added, which furrowed my brow.

"What?".

"Go back to Sophie, Do you think she knows something about this event?".

I immediately turned back to Sophie. I know that Andi and I are not okay but I know that she knows what she has to do, she knows how far she can go.

My eyes did not fail to look for her because I saw her with Dad. I hope it's not awkward for her to talk to Dad. I noticed earlier how she suddenly felt different from Dad's question.
