A\N: I love The Mentalist and I love how the team is there for each other and thought what a great story it'd make if the team were there for Patrick after he had a good dream and woke up only to discover it wasn't real. I hope you enjoy, Angels.

It was a quiet day at CBI (California Bureau of Investigation) as there wasn't a case, so it meant paperwork, coffee, takeout for lunch, banter between the 3 guys and eye rolls between the 2 girls at the guy's childish antics. Then after 2 in the afternoon, an officer entered their bullpen with two women behind him, effectively cutting Jane's, Rigsby's and Cho's banter. The officer had looked over at Jane who was sitting on his couch with a cup of tea. "These two women are looking for you, Mr Jane." The officer said before leaving the team alone with the two women. Jane stood up with his tea cup and looked at the two women, gasping in shock.

His tea cup shattered to the floor, the tea spilling, but Jane didn't care, he was too busy staring at the two women with tears in his eyes.

"Angela, Charlotte?" He whispered as tears rolled down his face as the two women nodded before the smaller woman slammed into him, sending him backwards onto the couch. Jane brought his arms around his daughter and held her tightly, more tears falling from his eyes as he met the eyes of his wife who was slowly making her way towards the two of them. "Hi, Patrick." his wife, Angela, said quietly. Jane, and Charlotte, stood up and pulled his wife closer to him, kissing her lips for the first time in 8 years.

Cheers and claps break their kiss and Jane and his two girls smile. He closes his eyes, happy that he has his two girls back in his arms after so long of them being gone when he hears his name being called by Lisbon. His eyes open to find that his two girls aren't in the bullpen.

"Angela? Charlotte?" He calls, turning around, trying to find them.

"Angela? Charlotte? Charlie?!" He shouts, feeling dizzy.

Patrick Jane shoots up on his couch with a gasp. He looks around for Angela and Charlotte only to be met with four pairs of eyes looking at him. Tears well up in his eyes. "I...it wasn't real, was it?" He asks his team. Lisbon sits beside him, putting her hand on his knee. "What wasn't real, Jane?" She asks. Jane sighs.

"My wife was the most beautiful woman I'd ever laid eyes on. Then Charlotte came along and she had me wrapped around her little finger. Anything my girls asked for, they eventually got." Jane says softly. He sighs, looking at Lisbon. "I had a dream that they were alive and were in CBI, then I woke up." He says sadly. "It seemed so real, like they were really alive. I miss them." The tears fall and Lisbon and Grace pull him into a hug and he starts sobbing. "I want them back." He sobs into Lisbon and Grace who rub his back and stroke his hair. "We know, Jane, we know." Lisbon whispers. Jane pulls away from Lisbon and Grace and gives them both a smile before he stands up, grabbing his coat and looking at his team. "Come with me, I want you guys to meet some people." The team don't hesitate in grabbing their coats and following the consultant out of CBI to the cars.

It's cold and windy when the five of them reach the cemetery. Jane picks up the bouquet of flowers in his hands and leads his team through the rows of tombstones until he stops at two.

He places the flowers in the middle of both of them and straightens up. "Lisbon, Van Pelt, Cho, Rigsby, these are my wife and daughter, Angela and Charlotte. Angela, Charlie, this is my team, they're helping me catch the son of the bitch who killed you, excuse the language, Angela. I miss you two everyday. I promise I will catch Red John, even if I die trying. I love you guys." Jane says, stepping back away from the tombstones. Jane watches as his team walk up to the stones and start talking to them, it brings a smile to his face, a small smile, but a smile nonetheless.

A phone rings, Lisbon's, that wipes the smile off his face. Lisbon walks away from the team, Jane and the two headstones to a tree and takes the call.

"You okay, Jane?" Asks Rigsby as the other man comes to stand beside the blonde man. Jane sighs as he turns his head to look at his friend. "Someday I feel like dying because it hurts to live without them but whenever I think about ending it, I think about you guys, I think about you, and Grace, and Cho, and Lisbon. And think about how much you all mean to me. I could never leave you guys in that way. You guys saved me and I'll forever be grateful for that." Jane says, holding out his hand for Rigsby to shake which he does and brings the consultant into a manly hug.

"Sorry to do this but we've got a case." Lisbon says as she rejoins the team, Jane sighs before walking back to the headstones. "I've gotta go, now girls. I'll come back, I love you both." Jane says before Lisbon and Grace lead him away and out of the cemetery to the cars and to their next case.

He's glad he introduced his team to his girls, and vice versa. While he had lost one family, he'd gained another one.

A\N: This one is a little bit longer, Angels. I'm feeling loads better today. I have got a few new stories I need to write and a few more to update, hope you're doing well, Angels.
