It's too late (Calum Hood) {ON HOLD}

Chapter 10

*Calum's pov*

I was waiting in the hall of the hospital for a doctor to come get me.

"You can now see her" a doctor said leading me to a room.

As I came into the room I couldn't believe my eyes.

Kaitlyn was so pale and even skinnier than she already was, and there were machines attached to her.
She looked...dead.

"Okay mr. Hood I know you want to stay with her but you've gotta get some sleep you waited the whole night, I got a room for you in the hospital" the doctor said.

"Okay, can I get 5 more minutes?" I asked. The doctor nodded and went out of the room.

"Hey princess, I don't know if you can hear me but... I love you and you gotta wake up, not only for me but also for mom and the boys" tears were now streaming down my face.

"I wouldn't know what to do if you...wouldn't wake up" I said sobbing. the doctor came in the room.

"5 minutes are over mr. Hood" the doctor said.

"I love you Kaitlyn" I said once more to Kaitlyn as I kissed her temple.

I followed the doctor to the room I would stay for the day.

"Okay now get to sleep, you really need it. Just push that little red button there if you're awake" he said pointing to it.
I nodded and he got out of the room.

If he really thought I was going to sleep then he was so wrong.
I got out of the bed and into the hallway.

I went back to Kaitlyn's room and grabbed a seat as a sat next to her bed.

This time I didn't say anything I just stared at her.
Why would she cut? What could be so bad that such a beautiful girl would cut?

I decided to leave it for later and just go to sleep.
I laid my head on the bed where Kaitlyn was sleeping and felt in an instant sleep.

"Mr. Hood" I woke up by someone tapping my shoulder.
I looked up and saw the doctor.

"Oh, uhm I'm sorry I didn't stay at my room..." I said a but embarrassed.

"It's okay, it's clear you love her" he said smiling at me.

"I suggest you go home to get a good rest, don't worry Kaitlyn is in good hands" he said smiling.

I nodded and went home.

*Kaitlyn's Pov*

Where am I? It's so dark...
I can't move anything nor can I speak.

I can hear everything people say around me but as much I want to respond, I can't.

When Calum said he loved me i wanted to hug him and say I love him too but nothing came out of my mouth.

I need to get out of here.

I tried from the beginning to move my toes. I need to start from the bottom and then working my way up.

Suddenly I saw a small light.
It came closer and closer.
Maybe this was my escape!

It became bigger and bigger.
Wait... What if this is the end and not my escape.

I tried to run away from the light but nothing helped.
I felt a sudden pain in my chest, then in my legs and soon the pain was in my whole body.

And then all at once it stopped.

"Don't worry Cal, she's gonna be alright" Ashton said putting his hand on my shoulder.
