I bit my lip and fiddled with the blanket, my heart pounding hard in my chest. My whole body was tense, and I couldn't help but be nervous because I had no idea what was going on or what was happening.

I had no idea how Ash would feel if I was pregnant with my father's child...

My heart yearned for an innocence that I never knew and couldn't help but wish for a way that I could get it back, even though I knew that it wouldn't be possible.

What was done was done, and all I had to do was live with the past and hope for a better future...

My mate sighed and moved a hand across her face. She shook her head and cleared her throat before she looked at me, and I couldn't help but look at my hands and not at her. "Well?" she asked and raised an eyebrow. "Are you ok?"

I hesitated before I shrugged. "I don't know," I replied honestly. "I don't know how I feel."

She pressed her lips into a thin line and slowly nodded, concern flashing through her eyes. She didn't say a word, and I had a feeling that she wanted me to say something, anything about how I felt, even though I had no idea how.

I hesitated and shifted in my seat, feeling slightly nervous. "There is something..." I said, my voice barely above a whisper, before I trailed off and cleared my throat again.

"What is it?" Ash asked and raised an eyebrow. "What's wrong?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before I released it and opened my eyes again to look at her. "I'm pregnant," I said softly, and she raised her eyebrow higher.

She blinked and blinked again before she cocked her head and studied me. "What?" she asked, her voice filled with shock and worry, and I hesitated but I slowly nodded.

"I'm pregnant," I said again while I cleared my throat and looked down, not able to meet her gaze, "by my father."

My mate blinked and blinked again. She stayed silent while she studied me, her face a mask, and I wasn't able to tell what she was thinking because of the blank look on her face.

I grimaced and cleared my throat while I played with the blanket that covered my lap. "I'm sorry," I said, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'm sorry that I'm pregnant."

Ash bit back a small sigh and shook her head. "Don't," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. She cleared her throat and shifted in her seat. "Don't apologize to me, Georgie, because it's not your fault."

I hesitated before I slowly nodded. "Ok," I said before I cleared my throat. I bit back a small sigh and dipped my head closer to my chest while I looked at the blanket, not able to look at my mate.

Ash sighed before she shook her head and cleared her throat. "What do you want to do?" she asked and cocked her head while she stared at me.

I hesitated before I shrugged and grimaced. "I don't know," I said before I cleared my throat again. I folded my arms across my chest and tapped my finger on my arm. "I don't know what I want to do with this baby."

She nodded slowly while she pressed her lips into a thin line. "Do you know how long you are?" she asked, and I shook my head no.

"I think the doctor knows, but I was in such a state of shock when she told me that he had impregnated me, I wasn't able to hear her." I shrugged and grimaced before I cleared my throat and shifted some more, trying to relieve some of my tension but couldn't.

Ash sighed and moved a hand through her hair before she shook her head and cleared her throat. "We should ask her," she said, and I slowly nodded. "I hope that you know that you aren't alone in this," she added softly.
