RWBY: Redemption (Former White Fang Fanus Female Reader x Weiss Schnee)

Chap 1: Escaping with a new life

Y/N's POV

After what happened during my first official mission with the White Fang, I was traumatized. All of the soldiers who were with me killed people, something that I didn't like. After Adam Taurus took me into the White Fang when my parents died when I was just six, he promised that all Faunus would be free, but I didn't envision this happening. That is when I decided to leave the White Fang for good and redeem myself in the eyes of many. As I walked to my room to gather my belongings, I overheard some soldiers.

WF Soldier 1: "Did you hear the news? We have a huntress captured."

WF Soldier 2: "Yes, and she's a Schnee nonetheless."

WF Soldier 3: "Yeah, that'll show the Schnee Family not to mess with the Faunus."

My eyes widened at this. I knew the Schnees held a grudge against the Faunus, but even then, kidnapping one of the family members was too far for me. That's when I decided to save her.

Y/N: 'Looks like I'm not the only one escaping from the White Fang tonight.'

Weiss' POV

As I sat in my cell, I felt nervous as I watched the White Fang soldiers stare at me as they walked past my cell. Just then, a soldier with H/L and H/C hair came to my cell and talked to the guards. 

?: "She's being moved, move aside."

The guards nodded and moved away as the soldier opened the door to my cell. As I got a closer look, I noticed that the soldier was a female. I looked at her nervously as she got in my face. She then removed her mask and I saw she was around the same age as me.

?: "Don't worry, I'm breaking you out tonight."

My eyes widened at what she just said. It sounded like she was planning on betraying the White Fang, just like Blake did. 

Weiss: "Are you a huntress in diguse?"

Y/N: "No, I'm not a huntress like you, but I hope to be one soon after this. Name's Y/N L/N by the way."

Weiss: "And I'm Weiss Schnee. You may be familiar with my family name right?"

Y/N: "Yes, but let's get a move on before everyone else in the base realizes what we're doing."

I nodded as I watched her put her mask back on as she guided me to where the bullheads were with one of her swords pointing at me. Upon entering, Y/N removed her mask again and went behind the controls. I realized Mrytenaster was also inside and I grabbed it as the bullhead went into the air. However, we both failed to see that the White Fang realized what we were doing.

Weiss: "Thanks Y/N. I owe you for this."

Y/N: "Thanks, Weiss."

Weiss: "What kind of Faunus are you anyway?"

Y/N tensed up before she gave her answer.

Y/N: "I'm a Wolf Fanus. You can tell by my ears and tail."

I nodded before we both heard an explosion outside. Looking behind, I noticed the White Fang was onto us.

Weiss: "They're onto us!"

Y/N: "I can see that."

Weiss: "*grabs Mrytenaster* I got this."

Y/N's POV

I nodded at Weiss as I continued to polit the bullhead. I noticed Weiss take down the approaching bullheads with dust-fired shots. However, a soldier with a rocket launcher fired at us and it hit the bullhead dead on.

Y/N: "We're hit!"

Weiss then got back in her seat as I began to lose control of the bullhead.

Weiss: "Should we jump?"

Y/N: "I guess we should."

We both then jumped from the falling bullhead and we could only hope for the best upon hitting the ground. However, a strong windstorm appeared and separated us in the process. I watched as Weiss landed in a lake while the wind pushed me to some nearby mountains. I closed my eyes as my life flashed before me.

Timeskip

As I awoke, I looked around before I realized my White Fang jacket was caught on a tree branch. I sighed I used one of my swords to cut the branch and free myself. I then landed on my feet as I tried to remember what happened. Soon I remembered what I did. But then I caught the scent of approaching White Fang soldiers and quickly went behind some huge rocks just before they walked past me. I then removed my White Fang clothes and put on the outfit I got if I ever left the White Fang.

Y/N: "OK, got my new outfit on, now to figure out where I am."

I then proceeded to get down the mountains. Eventually, I arrived at a village just when the sun was setting. I then walked into a hotel and checked into a room for the night. The following day, I was walking around the village looking for the train station, when suddenly.

?: "Help me! Mom!"

?: "No one's going to help you now, human."

Looking behind me, my eyes widened as I saw many White Fang soldiers taking hostages, including a young girl. I growled as I pulled out my two swords and charged right at the soldiers. It caught them off guard as I looked at the young girl.

Y/N: "Go to your parents."

The girl nodded as she ran away to safety. The soldiers looked at me and growled. They proceeded to grab their weapons and attack me. I then activated my semblance and used my swords to deliver defence and offence. When the soldiers tried to shoot me, I put my swords into their handgun mode and knocked them out.

?: "Hey!"

Looking to my side, I saw a White Fang brute.

WF brute: "You made a stupid decision, traitor."

I growled as the brute used a big axe to use against me. I used my superior speed to dodge the axe and I converted my weapons back to swords and began to fight back. When the brute tried to hit me again, I hit him in the face with a back elbow, breaking his mask and revealing his face. I smirked as I did a backflip over him and used my swords to cut the handle of his axe in half. The brute growled again as he tried to land a punch, but I countered with a thrust kick to his face, causing him to fall down. I looked down at my former allies with a glare on my face.

Y/N: "Stay down."

The brute and soldiers glared at me before they passed out. I then looked at the townsfolk who were all staring at me. I then felt a tug on my leg and as I looked down I saw the girl I saved.

Girl: "Thank you."

I smiled as the townsfolk began to thank me by calling me 'Faunus Hero' or 'Faunus Rebel against the White Fang'. I knew this was the start of my comeback story, and I was ready to write the next chapter of that comeback.

Damn, now that Y/N had betrayed the White Fang, made a new friend in Weiss, and saved a bunch of townsfolk from her former allies, she has started her road to redemption.
