double trouble ||kenshi and Johnny

five feet apart

kenshi paced all night and got no rest and eventually they let kenshi in to see cage.

cage was still asleep but kenshi went over and pulled up a chair next to him and rested his head on the bed untill he himself fell asleep.

he eventually awoke to cages morning voice "kenshi"? he said sluggishly kenshi sat up and put a hand on his shoulder "your ok?!" kenshi said embracing him. cage coughed "yea i think" he said with a raspy voice "how do you feel" kenshi asked "i think i feel like shit but they pumped me full of drugs so im high as fuck right now" he said with a cough kenshi chuckled "when did the doctors say you where going to be let out" kenshi asked "no clue but i really dont want to leave till i tap that nurses ass" cage said with a smile "cage be respectful, who knows you may not still be here without her" ken said seriously "ken-doll calm your self" cage put a finger over kenshis mouth. kenshi grabed it and held it down.

"cage you should rest" kenshi got up to leave "kenshi dont leave me here" cage said with an almost sad tone. kenshi turned to him "hm"? "well i just, dont want to be alone" cage said quietly. kenshi smiled and turned around "fine ill stay" kenshi sat back down and relaxed as cage fell asleep eventually falling asleep himself

in the morning the nurse came and awoke kenshi and pulled him into the hall. "hes going be ok but he's very sick" she paused "do you think you could be his designated care taker" kenshi with no hesitation replied "of corse can" he smiled "when he wakes up you may take him back to his home on earth where he is safe" the nurse said.

kenshi went back into the room and awaited cage to wake up.

when cage awoke kenshi told him about going back to his mansion but through a fit of coughs he argued to talk to kang first. so kenshi got kang and brought him to cage.

"there was an evil" cage coughed "kitana trying to take our kitanas spot" he coughed more "if one came more will" he kept coughing " kenshi handed cage a glass of water but he pushed it away "more will try and take our spots on this timeline" cage began to cough up blood "cage take a break" kenshi gave him a pill and water, cage unwillingly took it. "we will keep and eye out cage but i dont want to see you for at least a week."

kang opened a portal and sent kenshi and johnny to the mansion on earth. when they arived kenshi immediately made cage sit on the  living room sofa. cage wanted to walk around but kenshi did not let him.

kenshi had cage put on one of his movies that kenshi had already "seen" before so cage would talk less. but kenshi still had to stop him alot. "and then in this scene" cage coughed alot kenshi put his hand on Johnny's back "shh cage" kenshi handed him water but like always he pushed it away. "cage you need to drink it" kenshi said handing it to him again. cage shook his head and pushed it again, kenshi sighed.

by the time the movie was over cage was bored and wanted to walk around. "kenshi ple-" he coughed so hard he puked "oh god cage" he rubbed cages back and wiped off his face. he then brought cage to a different living room so the maid could clean.

"cage you need to take it easy" kenshi said with his hand on cages shoulder, "and you need to stop bossing me around" cage yelled as loud as his raspy voice could then had another coughing fit. kenshi took a deep breath "cage, im trying to help you, you almost died you need  to take it easy." kenshi said in a calm tone. cage turned away from him and went on to his phone ignoring him.

after around 20 minutes kenshi checked the time "cage you should be going to bed" kenshi said standing. cage tried to talk but only a faint wisper came out. "common dont fight me on this cage you need to rest" kenshi helped cage stand up and took him to his room.

when they got to his room kenshi made sure he was comfortable and then took cages phone away. cage banged on the table unable to say anything "im taking it so you go to sleep" kenshi said placing it in his pocket. cage dramatically crossed his arms in a fit "end of story cage" kenshi grabed something out of his pocket "ring this if you need anything" he placed a bell ,cage immediately rang it and pointed to his phone. kenshi took a deep breath "if you need anything but this" cage gave him a nasty look and kenshi headed into a spare room.

kenshi was laying in bed relaxing and hour later when he heared the bell so he grabed sento so he could see and went to johnnys room as he got closer he heard johnny coughing over and over again. kenshi came in and johnny was coughing blood up and he was coughing so much he could barely breathe. kenshi ran over and immediately started comforting johnny for there was nothing he could do. after he was coughing less and getting breaths in kenshi wiped the blood from his mouth and sheets and handed cage water which he gladly took. kenshi also grabed a pill from his night stands for cage to take. he took it in between coughs. kenshi wrapped his arm around cage and put his head on his shoulder while he took it. cage began coughing again but it wasnt as bad. kenshi ended up sitting with him and comforting him for hours.

3am was the time they got to lay down. cages coughs came to a hault and he layed down wiping his tears from the pain. kenshi stayed with him the whole night.
