INTO THE WORLD OF MY DREAMS (Reader X Cedric)

CHAPTER 10

Y/n pov:

There I sat on one of the class desks. The reason I'm here in this dark empty classroom is because of Fred constantly nagging about wanting to show me something.

"What is it, Fred?" I ask for the tenth time since he pulled me in.

"Why are you not patient? George will be here with it soon and we'll show you" He said as he peeked out the door before closing it again.

"Couldn't you have waited after lunch I'm hungry" I complained. Everyone else was in the great hall having to eat delicious food, while I waited here to see what these two wanted to show me.

Fred huffs with frustration. He makes his way towards me as he stuffs his hand into his pocket, he pulls out a chocolate frog and hands it to me "Here."

I smiled as my face lit up in delight "Thanks" I took the chocolate frog from his hand and started eating it.

A couple of minutes later George walks in followed by Lee.

"Took you long enough" Fred walked up to the two and grabbed something from George's hand.

"Had to make sure the professors don't notice us missing" George explained as he sat beside me on the desk.

Lee sat at one of the chairs nearby as Fred unraveled the sheet of paper on an opposite desk.

I recognized that paper. "That's the map. I already know about" I glare at Fred.

Fred chuckles "Yes I know you do, but look." He points at the map where tiny red footprints are being seen walking around. Oh Fred I already knew that too.

"There is more," He said when he noticed that I was surprised by what he had just shown me.

I nod for him to continue.

"We found secret passages.... many secret passages that lead out of Hogwarts and we explored some of them" George continued.

I look at the two boys. "Really? What did you find on the other side?" I asked.

"Well... we found a way to Hogsmeade," Lee answered.

"OK?" I was confused about what they wanted.

"We were planning to go there tomorrow," Fred said.

"And we can't simply disappear a whole day without anyone noticing," George explained.

"So we were wondering if you'd cover for us." Lee finished.

I looked between the three as I took in what they were saying. When it hit my eyes widened as I looked at the three.

"Me?! Why me?" I asked shocked.

"Really that's the first thing you ask" George sounded disappointed.

Fred elbowed him hard on the arm. "Well, no one else knows about the map, but you," Fred answered.

I nod in understanding. "Good luck on finding someone else" I started to walk towards the door before Lee stopped me by placing his hand on my shoulder.

"Wait, why won't you help us?" He asked

I turned to face the three and crossed my arms. "Simple it's impossible. The most annoying three in our year missing. Of course, every professor going to be suspicious when their classes are quiet" I explained.

They all seemed to think hard about what I said before George spoke. "Well make ourselves sick. All you have to do is do some sort of distraction that will leave Madan Pomfrey away from the hospital wing"

"How do we do that?" Lee asked and after that George came up with a plan to get him, his brother, and his best friend to go to Hogsmade.

I barely made it in time for my next class after that talk with the boys they were going to do this.

Finally, classes were over. I was in the common room I sat on the couch with a huff of relief when the day ended.

I grab my back and start to pull out my homework to do.

I sat alone when another person joined me on the couch. I turn to see that's Cedric.

"How was your day?" He asked with his kind smile.

"The usual" I answer as I place my homework away using talking to Cedric as an excuse. "You?"

"Just Boring classes... I tried out for the Quidditch team. I got in" He says calmly but excitement could be heard.

"That's great! Congratulations." I give I friendly light punch on the shoulder.

He laughed a bit and we fell into our nice comforting silence.

"So what are your plans for tomorrow?" Cedric asked. I look at him and smile as I explain George's plan to him.
