Standing over several broken bodies, Keith left school. Without Ashley, he walked back home alone with nothing but his thoughts to keep him company.
Keith:(mind) One way or another I have to stop fighting in the tournament...
Keith:(mind) There's no way I can get away with continuing to fight until I'm eighteen.

Arriving home, Keith found Walter waiting for him, worried.
Walter: Where have you been?
Keith: I've been walking home.
Walter: What? Why? Where's Ashley?
Keith: I don't know. There was... Well, there was an incident at the school and she left after.
Walter: Well... Okay... She can take care of herself.
He began to notice Keith's less-than-positive mood.
Walter: Why didn't you call? I could have come and picked you up. I have the spare car keys...
Keith:(shrugs)
Keith: The thought never crossed my mind. Not used to having that option.
He goes to his room in the basement.

Walter and Keith waited at the bus stop. With the family car, still at the school and Ashley not returning, the two were forced to take the bus.

Keith: Huh?
Walter: Or Girlfriend!

Walter: Keith, what's wrong?
