I was falling. It felt like I was a bird, with a strong breeze flurrying through my hair. Gianna was screaming, and I was silently falling, to what it felt like was falling to my death. Crunch! We slammed into the bush, hard. Pain immediately started surging through my ankle. Gianna and I got up and started running/limping into the street. I stopped and looked back at the house. I saw a flash of his orange hair in the second floor window. "G, second floor. We need to go," She nodded and we started running down the middle of the street, and he quickly caught up to us. He was about eight feet away from us now. We were trying to lose him by making several weird turns.
This was a good idea, until we ran down a street that ended. Yes, Gianna and I both missed the big yellow sign, that clearly stated DEAD END. We thought that we would die at the end, once we got there. We were completely breathless as we faced the solid brick wall that stood 12 feet tall above us, there was no way to climb over it or get around it. We turned around, and there he was, taking his belt off. He started tying a shape that looked like a noose. It seemed that if he wanted to kill us, he wanted to do it the right way. Slowly. We looked around frantically searching for people or anything that could protect us from the terrifying moment. But, all that we could see was a dirt road, a few rundown, abandoned houses and a grassy field. We were truly screwed. This was where it would all end. My life was practically over.
Suddenly, a car whizzed down the dirt road swerving onto the field. There was no one in the car. Bam! Gianna and I were standing in front of the brick wall with nothing but the red headed man laying on the ground, and the car with no driver in it. We stood there, shocked, not moving for a long time. He layed there, lifelessly, without moving at all. I felt like cheering, I was so happy that the wretched man was dead. He murdered all of my immediate my family, and now I'm left with no where else to go. Of course, I could go to Gianna's and live there; I mean, she was my best friend and all.
We walked past the car and his dead body, trying not to look at his face. I put my hand on the car's hood. My eyes rolled back inside my head. Did i have some sort of power? I didn't see Gianna anymore. I saw a man. Clover was the name on his name tag. He was a mechanic, from what I could tell. He poured this liquid inside the car, I couldn't tell what it was. Then, he walked back into the house, and the flashback ended. "Oh my! Are you okay? You were out for 2 solid minutes!"Gianna said.
"Ummm.....yeah. I'm fine, just a little dizzy, but I'll be fine."
"Okay. Let's go."
"Wait. No... If I got a memory or flashback from placing my hands on the car, what would happen if I put my hands on him,"
"And I thought you were crazy before,"Gianna said, rolling her eyes. I walked over to the limp body, and Gianna stayed safely behind the car. His body was cold. My eyes rolled back. Here I go again.
*Flashback* It was Clover, on thee streets. He looked homeless with tattered clothes and unkept hair. We was holding out a tin can and asking people for spare change. One day, a little girl about 3 years old went up to him and hugged him. What she didnt know, was that he hates children. He threw the girl off of his leg, screaming at her. Her young parents called the police. Eventually, he was deported to a mental hospital. The only thing that the people let him keep seemed to be the strange fluid that he had filled his car with a couple weeks earlier.
He was sitting alone in a dark, padded room, tightly clutching the liquid. Gulp! The liquid flowed down his esophagus. A day later, he randomly started bouncing off the walls. An attendant came into the room and tried to calm him down. This is where it started. He killed the attendant. He was moved to solitary confinement. Everyday, he would plot his escape. Eventually, he broke out of the asylum, and went searching for the girl who gripped onto his leg. He wanted revenge on the girl and her family that essentially got him stuck in that mental asylum.
He was walking down the street on a normal day when he spotted her, walking home alone from school. Now, the girl was 6, but she did not look different at all. He followed her home. She went inside and he stayed outside, hissing in the bushes next to a flower bed.
The next day, everyone left the house, and he snuck in through a open window. While he was hiding in the bushes, he realized that everyday after the young child got home, she would go up into the attic. So, that's where he went.On any ol' day, she came home and headed up into the attic. She soon noticed that she wanted to become friends with the red headed man because he gave her pretty flowers. One day, she saw him take out a strange bottled liquid and drink it. The next thing he knew, he was sitting in another jail cell, plotting his escape to get his hands on the girl's parents that sent him away, and seperated him from his young best friend.
