Three years later when Aurelia left her country home, she's been battling loneliness missing her loved ones, thankfully Jerome was always there for her. Besides Lucky has been bugging her almost every day, and that's the reason why she keeps going for those three years, it's not easy for her to move on. In her first year in Paris, she's been crying when she's alone, she misses her loved one so much that she asks herself if her decision would make her regret that she left him. But then she's fighting that loneliness and trying to find herself even more. She celebrated Christmas in her office drinking a cup of wine. Jerome visited her in the morning but celebrated Christmas with his family, as well as Lucky who called her to wish her a Merry Christmas. Her family called also and pestered her to book a flight to the United States to celebrate Christmas together, but she decided to celebrate Christmas alone and by herself. She's like torturing herself in those years.

Aurelia told herself, to focus on running and expanding their company so when two years come, she would be in London for the opening of branches of their hotels and restaurant. She makes herself busy, so she doesn't have even time to think about him, Aurelia makes friends in London sometimes she has a get-together with them, and they go to the bar and drink a couple of tequila. Jerome on the other hand visits her once a month and nagging her for being a party woman. Sometimes Jerome reminds him to her, and she feels a little bit missed and sad, but she doesn't hurt anymore, which for Aurelia is an achievement.

Aurelia goes back to Paris a year after the opening of the hotel in London, she back to her old self being a workaholic woman, until she meets David Hugo a gay man, who wants to invest in her company. At first, David is like a real man dressing in a business suit, a handsome half-British and French man. They were so serious about their next project and meeting with the architect and engineer in Europe until Aurelia observed that David was interested in man. So, Aurelia didn't hesitate and confronted David. David on the other hand is so scared that Aurelia tells his secret, but she keeps it to herself and so the both of them become friends, Aurelia even visits his house and meets his parents, but she's been so awkward because David's parents want her for him. Aurelia also introduces David to Jerome and Jerome being a real man is so allergic to David, but they actually bond sometimes even though Jerome is so grumpy at him.

Three years have passed still Christile is still waiting for her, even though he's not sure if she forgot about him or still loved him. But one thing is he sure that he needs to court her when she's back, he needs to please her, he needs to do everything to win her back. Christile is still ruthless, or rather he become colder, he is so serious that he forgets to smile. He's just focused on his business, thankfully his sister is back from the United States, so he turns over their mother's company to her, so he surely focuses on his own company now. He didn't come back to their mansion nor visit his parents, he can't move on from what happened before, and he still has regrets that he let his parents' insult and hurt his loved one. Still, he's waiting for her to come in his arms.
