CHAPTER 22

Time passed and it's new year already.

Yunho and Mingi – 6 years old

Seonghwa – 5 years old

Yeosang, San and Wooyoung – 4 years old

Jongho – 1 year 4 months

Yunho and Mingi are now in their last year in kindergarten. Luckily they stayed in the same class so no problem arose. They are getting more mature but Mingi still needs care from Yunho. Yunho as usual will carry out his duties as the eldest son, he takes care of his brothers very well. Both of them can read well and Mingi is very good at math.

Seonghwa has started his kindergarten. It was very difficult for him to adapt in kindergarten, until now. He would whine every morning and make drama in front of the kindergarten. 5 days he goes to kindergarten, only 1 day he will be okay but sometimes none. Jiyeon and Hongjoong really struggled to handle him every day. Even Yunho and Mingi sometimes can't help them.

Yeosang is talking more and more, not much but at least better than before. Jiyeon took him to a specialist to help him. He mostly does not cause many problems but needs a lot of attention. People need to explain to him slowly and in details. He takes time to understand things but it's okay since he's just 4 years old.

Not much has changed for San. He and Wooyoung are making trouble as usual. They bickered and made up again, over and over again. His plushie collection kept growing until Wooyoung complained about it. San is a sweet boy and always cures everyone when they need it.

For Wooyoung, loud as usual. He is getting closer to Jongho as Jongho will look for him as soon as he wakes up. He always bullies his brothers and often gets detention. He and Seonghwa never got along, they bickered a lot. Mostly Wooyoung who started it first. Seonghwa always cries and that's why he enjoys finding problems with Seonghwa. But he is still everyone's favorite, after Jongho, since he always entertains them and he always livens up the atmosphere. The house was never quiet with him.

And for Jongho, he can already walk. That's why everyone needs to work more. He likes to play on the stairs and that worries everyone. Jiyeon decided to install a fence on the stairs for his safety. He already has his own room but mostly he will sleep with Jiyeon. Well, he's mom's boy. As mentioned before, he and Wooyoung are very close. He loves playing with Wooyoung but he is still close with his other brothers. Not to mention, he has already started speaking a few words. One time, Wooyoung sulks because his first word is 'mama' and not his name. After the kiss, he didn't sulk anymore. One more, Jongho hates skin ship except for his mom and Hongjoong. They're special so they get that privilege.

Jiyeon is getting busy with her work besides it's the new year. Her company has many projects to handle. She only meets her kids in the morning since she always comes home after they sleep. They always complained about it but nothing she could do. Even on weekends she will go to work or be in her home office to complete her works. Her kids spend more time with Hongjoong.

For Hongjoong, it remains the same. He takes care and protected kids all the time like before.

"Ma-ma."

"Yes Jongho? Why?"

"Woo?"

"Woo is sleeping."

Jongho showed his sad face.

"You can play with him when he wakes up okay?"

"Mama play?"

"You want to play with me?"

"Yesh."

"Wait a minute okay, I want to make juice for Seonghwa hyung."

Jongho nodded and waited for his mom in the living room. There are Seonghwa who is watching the LEGO Movie. He refused to sleep since he woke up late this morning, same as Jongho.

"Hwa."

"Hi Jongho. Sit here." Seonghwa tried to help Jongho sit on the sofa but the little boy gently pushed him away. This is because Jongho can sit on the couch by himself without anyone's help.

"What?" Jongho pointed at the TV.

"The LEGO Movie."

"Tayo?" It's Tayo the Little Bus, a cartoon he watches almost every day.

"I want to watch LEGO Movie, you can watch Tayo later."

Jongho pouted and crossed his arms over his chest.

"LEGO is fun." Seonghwa said while his eyes were still on the TV screen.

Then Jiyeon came with a glass of strawberry juice for Seonghwa and a banana smoothie for Jongho.

"Here, your orders, sir." Seonghwa and Jongho chuckled.

"Thank you mama." Seonghwa took the juice from his mom and drank carefully, not wanting to spill it on the sofa.

"Do you want to play it here or?"

Jongho pointed up, it's means his room or his mom's room.

"Okay but first, finish this smoothie." Jongho drinks a banana smoothie where the glass is held by his mom.

"Done!" He licked his lips.

"Okay let's go play upstairs. Seonghwa, you sit here, okay? Put the glass in the kitchen when you're done drinking."

Seonghwa nodded. Jiyeon put Jongho's glass in the sink before going up to Jongho's room with her little boy.

"What do you want to play?"

Jongho took the animal book and gave it to Jiyeon.

"Do you want to learn the names of animals? Okay, sit down."

There are small chairs and tables in his room, suitable for his age. They learned the names of the animals one by one until Jongho started yawning. Jiyeon put the book away and tucked him to sleep. She then went downstairs again and saw Seonghwa walking out of the kitchen.

"What are you doing?"

"Put the glass in the kitchen."

Jiyeon nodded. "Have you finished your LEGO Movie?"

"Not yet."

"I will be in my office, find me if you need anything."

"Okay mama." He sat back in his seat and continued watching his favorite movie.
