Lesson 1--

"We're going to the mall." Laura stated.

"No! I hate the mall!" I shout and roll my eyes. Laura threw a pillow at me causing me to fall backwards.

"Why do I have to?" I whine. I rolled over on my stomach. I touched the soft blue and white herringbone pattern carpet on Laura's bedroom.

"Because you need an outfit for the party!" She explained as she pulled me up off the floor.

"Oh, fine. lets get ready." I sighed.

Laura had on some skinny jeans and a gray flowy crop top.

As I had on some black leggings and a white t-shirt that says "Diamond Supply co."

We grabbed our purses and walked out the door. We got in the truck and drove off to the mall.

"So why do you hate Beck?" I asked. hoping for a real answer instead of "ManWhore."

"Well, he's Topsails biggest bad boy, He's a ManWhore, and he's a jerk." she had already told me this earlier.

"I know, I know, I know! you said that earlier. I want to know the real reason!" I stated hoping she would tell me.

"He cheated on his ex-girlfriend with one of my friends." she explained.

"And he TP-ed my house last week so I was stuck cleaning up the mess by myself. He was my kitchen partner in cooking class last year, and he dumped a bowl of cake batter on my head." she finished.

"Oh-"

"And that's not all. he nearly killed me and my friends. twice. By being in our chemistry group. The first time, he mixed the wrong chemicals together and it caused the whole school to evacuate. and the second time he caught my hair on fire." she explained.

"Wow-" I said being interrupted once more.

"He pushed me off the pier last December when the water was freezing. he had pranked the teachers and principal multiple times, causing him to get suspended 4 times this year alone. And trust me there's more." she finally finished.

"Oh my god." was all I could say.

"Yeah he's not a good guy." she said cringing at the thought of Beck.

"But if you say he's such a bad guy, why was he acting like that at the pier this morning?" I asked not hoping for another rant.

"Cuz he's a ManWhore/flirt/Fuck-boy." she simply said.

"But They all mean the same thing." I pointed out. we pulled up to a tall building labeled "Topsail Fashion Place"

"I know but he's all of those things." she said as we got out of the truck. we headed into the mall.

"Ok, lesson one, Looks." Laura said.

"You won't need these any more." she said as she took off my "nerdy" glasses. now I can't see.

"Laur, I'm legally blind. I can't see." I said as I tried to reach for them.

"Nope your getting contacts." she said as she walked away with my glasses. I trudged behind her.

All in all, the mall wasn't that bad.
Laura took me to Pink for some perfume, then we went to forever 21 to get me a party outfit (picture up top or at side). and now were at Cinnabon.

"So what's lesson 2?" I asked curiously.

"Oh honey, we haven't even scratched the surface of lesson 1, I still have to take you to a beauty supply." she sounded like she was delusional thee is no way on earth that she will take me to a beauty supply.

"Then he have to get you your contacts." she said as she stuffed her cinnamon roll in her mouth. I rolled my eyes. I mean I kind of wanted to look good for this party, maybe because Beck would be there? What the even heck am I saying?! I can't like him! ever! I would never work! he's outgoing, bad, and charming but I'm shy and that's the only word to describe me, SHY. But I dreamt of Beck before I even knew he existed. WHAT THE SHMUTZ IS GOING ON WITH THE UNIVERSE?! holy crap this it good. I can't ketch feelings for Beck. Laura will literally stick a knife in my neck even if I say if he is "cute" yeah cute. not hot. not sexy, but "cute."

"Something's up." Laura said. I can't tell her.

"No. I'm fine." I said calmly hoping her mind could not read mine.

"Oh, okay!" she said as she stuffed the last piece of cinnamon roll in her mouth.

"Lets get you some makeup!"
