And that was how they spent the first month in Indiana. They spent the majority of their days in Evan's Jeep moving back and forth between their new apartment and the storage unit.

While they did see the burly man who approached them about Min-Jun's bike occasionally doing whatever with his own seemingly large collection of storage units, Evan theorised that he might be a friend or family member if the owner or some form of maintenance guy, he never approached the two again. He would sometimes give a single nod should he seemingly meet either one's gaze, but aside from that left them alone.

When they finally un-earthed the kitchen items, namely the normal-sized fridge, they gave it a quick clean once it was plugged in to make sure that nothing that was accidentally left in there had festered into something nasty. Afterwards, they hitched the bike trailer onto Min-Jun's bike and drove to the nearest supermarket to do the big shop.

Alongside a few more non-perishable items just so that they were stocked up, they may have gone slightly overboard on some items. But thankfully they had quite a sizable fridge so they could store some things in the freezer like bread, slightly complex frozen meals, ice cream, or even some of the meat they had bought for a later date.

Evan had gotten a job with the local contracting company near their new apartment building and was even doing a part-time apprenticeship at the local community college near their new apartment. At first, he was only doing woodwork and basic grunt work. However, the manager of the team seemed to have seen potential in Evan, because he started having him shadowing the plumbers, the electricians, and even the plasterers so that he was learning the craft of nearly everyone on the crew.

As for Min-jun, she still posted snippets of how the moving process was going, even the longer-than-usual video about the journey from Pennsylvania to Indiana. She decided to cut out the parts with the rude woman from the last pit stop they had made once she found out that she had actually recorded the whole encounter. She made sure to record just a quick explanation at the end of the longest video that it'll take a while for her regular uploading schedule to happen again, citing that she wanted to be settled in first and established what days she'll have free time to do soon.

Min-jun had also found a new job as a translator at the University. While it was slightly jarring that the head of the translating automatically assumed that she would be able to translate Japanese and Chinese all the same as Korean, she did have to insist that while she could translate Korean to English and vice versa, she would not be able to also translate Japanese and Chinese just because she was Asian. It caused a small conflict but thankfully she was able to still do her intended job of translating Korean.

Now, she was just adding the last finishing touches to their apartment. Evan had texted her saying that he was going to be returning late because the house they were building still needed quite a bit of work done and they were a month away from the expected deadline, so she elected to empty the rest of the boxes that were currently sitting in the corner of the living room.

She'd just hung up the fairy lights along the railing of the curtains and was now standing above the final box. It was labelled as Evan's and she wasn't sure of she should open it or just move it into his room and let him organize his own stuff. It was from his room back at the Buckley's so she wasn't sure on what the contents could be.

They never actually hung out at the Buckley's back at Hershey, mainly they were at Min-jun's now old apartment or at any local hang out point like the 50's themed diner.

Deciding just to take a small peek, Min-jun slid the blade along the inseam of the tape and slowly lifted the flaps.

The first item she saw was a worn brown medium sized bear with a faded yellow ribbon tied around it's neck. Childhood toy, she couldn't exactly judge him considering she still had her baby blanket and her own bear, a faded white furred one that was now the size of her torso, with her.
