The clock hits 6:00, as it starts to beep and is soon switched off, as a boy who looked to be in his mid 20s, gets up, as the green bush of hair on his head sways with the wind from the ceiling fan.

His prussian eyes slowly move around the room, as he yawns one final time and stretches his body before getting up and doing basic stretches and pushups.

The clock hits 6:00, as it starts to beep and is suddenly grabbed and thrown into a wall, as someone curls up in their bed and covers their relatively small postured body in the bedsheets.

A while later, the door to the room opens up as a lady who looked to be in her early 30s comes in.

???: Hey! Wake up, Ai!

The lady had long, black hair that extended to her waist, and beautiful purple eyes.

The girl, now recognised as Ai, get up with a groan, as we see her face.

Unkempt short black hair that got a hue of purple before it reached the end, beautiful purple eyes, just like her sister, and overall, a lovely and beautiful face.

Ai: Jeez. Why can't you just let me sleep for a while longer, Kibouko-nee?

The lady, now recognised as Kibouko, simply smiles and shows her younger sister a watch.

Ai's eyes widen as she sees that it was 7am already. She had to go to work at 7:30 in order to reach her workspace by 8.

Kibouko: I could drive you there.

Ai: *sigh* No, it's fine.

She gets up and stretches her arms, as she lets out a final yawn and goes to get ready as fast as she could.

We see the guy from earlier close the gate to his apartment, as he pockets his key.

???: Oh? Leaving already, Shiteru-kun?

The boy now known as Shiteru looks to the side and sees an old lady smiling at the man.

Shiteru: Yeah, I am. Take care of yourself, maam. Once I'm back, I'll be sure to make you your pancakes. I promise.

Lady: Oh, it's no issue, you sweet boy. Here. Take this candy.

Shiteru: Oh. Thanks!

He takes the candy and thanks the lady before saying a final goodbye to her.

He then starts to walk while enjoying his surroundings, until he reaches a crossroad.

We see Ai running towards the bus station, when she collides with someone on a crossroad.

Ai: Oh, I'm so so sorry! Are you alright?

Shiteru: No, it's alright. I'm fine. Here.

He hands the papers that Ai had dropped to the girl, as Prussian eyes meet purple.

An expression of confusion comes on the faces of the two, as the bus comes to the stop, making Ai grab the papers and run towards the bus to catch it before it left.

But this whole time, one thought lingered in the minds of the two.

Ai: That boy...

Shiteru: That girl...

Ai/Shiteru: Have we met before...?

Shiteru looks back at the running girl, when he somehow sees the girl in a white haori with a butterfly wing pattern on it.

For some reason, he wanted to run towards her, but before he could even move, she got on the bus, and leaned out of the bus as she sees Shiteru trip a bit, but then regain his balance.
