Kieara's POV

"Ahhhh....... KIEARAAAA....HELP ME!!! Please come fast... beep beep beep." My phone got disconnected.

"That's Sarah's voice." I told myself. Sarah is my best friend and she was asking for my help???

OMG, this means that she is in danger!!! What to do? What to do? Yes, I took out my cell phone immediately and located her location via GPS

Wait. What on earth is she doing in the House at the end of our town ?!? Let me get this straight, that house is no ordinary House. It's a freaking HAUNTED HOUSE for Christ's sake!!!!

As I came back to my senses, I ran pushing away the Witches, Ghosts, Werewolves, and what not. You see today is 31st October meaning Halloween and I am in our school Halloween Party and yeah I forgot to mention today's my 17th Birthday.

I reached our school's main gate, and made my way to the parking lot to find 'Bluebells' my baby. There my car, Blue Mustang ,was standing sparkling in the moonlight. Without wasting a second, I rushed to my car. I started the engine and started driving towards the end of the town- Sherbrook. I lived in the beautiful town of Sherbrook in Quebec, Canada. I'm sure you haven't heard about it. But let me tell you, it's probably one of the prettiest towns in the world with the best lake in Magog, a town, few miles away.

As I headed on my Mission to save my BFF Sarah, my mind drifted to things that happened a week ago.

***Flashback***

"OMG, I am so exited for next week!!!" Sarah squealed and I gave her a plain look.

We are currently at the cafeteria in our school and Sarah, Rose, Liam and Josh- my Best Friends are deciding what to wear at the Halloween Party that the school is organizing and I am not included in their conversation. I can't believe they are forgetting that it's my birthday also on that day. I guess it's just me and my iPhone for my 17th Birthday. Phew.

"C'mon, it's not so interesting also. All we do is Dress up like some freaks, Dance, Eat, Drink and go back home and since the party is in the school, I can't even hook up with anyone." said Josh looking all sad.

"Ouchhhh, that hurt like a b***h" he whined like a 9 year old after Rose hit him in the arm.

I dozed off to my own lala land and started wondering who on earth will remember my birthday.

***Flashback over***

It does not make any sense. I was not able to find any of them at the school. At first I thought they were late but it was almost 2 hours, so I started looking for them all over the school. I practically haunted the whole school in my Vampire costume. But they were not to be found anywhere and they are also not picking any of my calls. For God's sake they have invented phones for a reason!

Not picking calls - no Sarah - no Rose - no Liam - no Josh. What if they all are in danger?

The house was at the other end of the town so it would take me about 20 minutes to get there.

I ,Kieara Winset, was seriously hurt that no one, not even my mom wished me. All she said was. "Hey beautiful, hope you head back home straight after school coz it's gonna take long for you to dress up like a Vampire for your school party and I am gonna be late tonight." and kissed my forehead and left for work. Even Blake didn't wish me ,who is my biggest crush of all time, so what if we just have one class together but we are Chemistry partners. Duh! Forget Blake. I still can't believe that none of my friends wished me. Even Rose, who would never forget anything in her life. I am so disappointed in my friends. I sighed.

As soon as I spotted the house at the end of the ghostly street, I slowly went by the pavement and turned off my engine. "Crap!" I murmured as I looked down my watch it was 9:40 pm and my curfew starts at 10pm. Just Great. So it means I have only 20 minutes to find my friends. Mom and Dad would be so mad at me if they find out what I'm doing.

I got off the car and took slow steps towards the Haunted house. As I neared I heard an owl hooting behind me and I stopped dead on my tracks. The hair on my back stood up. It felt like someone was watching me.

I started walking towards the house and stopped in front of the door and started thinking whether to open the door or I should climb through the window. The possibilities of getting greeted by a skeleton as I enter the house are very high. But my thoughts were paused by a high-pitched scream. All I could think about was Sarah.
