"I'm so sorry" Andrew replied quickly after his friend temper shot up. Truth be told he didn't mean to anger his best pal at all he was only in a friendly discussion which led to his own selfishness. "No just forget it Andrew" Ross said anger lacing his tone as he stormed off into his room. Andrew teared up a bit but he wiped them away quickly and left the house.
So what if Ross forgot about Andrews birthday it's not like he had anything planned for it either for anyone to remember. "Hey Andy, you look down in the dumps everything alright back at the house" zubin asked as he ran into him on the walk. "Thinking is all!! Um, do you by any chance know what Ross's favorite things are" Andrew asked Joe, who was idling standing next to Zubin, dazed by the bright sun. "Sugar, flowers, and ethnic food I never really thought about that he really liked. Huh." Joe answered honestly, laughing at how bizarre their friend was. "Okay thank you Joe" Andrew said excitedly as he ran to the store. Joe waved him off and turned to Zubin to continue their previous conversation.Andrew saw a few things that caught his eye, one of them was a beautiful flower crown and canvas and paint. Andrew wasn't a painter much but he was willing to do anything for Ross. "Hey um, I have a question. '' Andrew asked the lady at the counter what would be a good thing to get his partner or bandmate. "Oh I always get my girlfriend sweet roses or something nice she likes. She always likes jewelry so I manage to slip some hand made rings into there while I'm at it." The girl spoke loudly and she was excited to express her interest to the world Andrew sighed in relief when he heard she could probably understand his feelings. "Can I be honest with you?" Andrew smiled as he remembered a picture of Ross smiling. "There's this guy I really like and I wanna do something sweet for him as a way of apologizing for being selfish. Do you mind helping me search for something?" Andrew cheek flushed at the thought of him. The girl giggled and shook her head happily. "I would love to help you come behind the counter to my workshop. I have a bunch of things I think you might like." The girl signed him to go back through the beaded curtain where v.i.p customers were only allowed in. "What does your boyfriend like?" The girl asked as she wiggled in her chair to start on a new project. "Oh, umm, he's not my boyfriend he's my best friend" Andrew had a giddy smile written all over his face. "Awe come on let me have fun!! My name is Andria'' she laughed out and Andrew swore she looked like a mirror image of him as a woman. "My name is Andrew, the guy's name is Ross." She took out a sheet of paper and wrote his name down. "What's he like? But most importantly what does he like?" She was interested in his story. "He's a drummer for our band and he's really sweet to me at least he has a funny personality but super serious a lot too!! He really loves flowers and for some reason he stated that he's starting to love the color green. It reminds him of the forest." Andrew went on and on until she interrupted him. "You should really tell him that you love him before he gets the wrong idea that you love someone else." Andria stated as she lifted up a flower crown made out of metal. "Do you think he'll like this if I add more color and flare?" Andria asked as she punctured holes in the metal leaves. "He would love it." Andrew said excitedly. "Thank god I didn't have to make one by hand." Andria signed as she beaded through small black chains in it with more flowers attached to it. The flower crown was stained a color deep green and silver with hints of a variety of other colors. Which made Andrew's stomach turn. Lastly she glued lace from the inside to the outside of the flower crown giving it a fuller look and she added more beads to secure it in place.
"Thank you so much" Andy said as he took the black box she put the crown in. "Just stop by anytime and I'll make you something for him" Andria smiled at him and slid her business card over to him Andrew laughed and took the card and shoved it in his pocket. "How much for the crown?" He asked, she only shook her head and pushed his card away. "The machine is broken. Do you think $20 is a good amount?" Andria smiled as she guided him out of her workshop and into the store lobby. Andrew smiled and handed her a hundred dollars for the work. He genuinely liked it a lot and wished the woman took more pride in her work.
