"I thought I can't have red bull in the morning?" She raises an eyebrow. "It's your birthday we can make an exception." I say. "Can you hand me a shirt I'm a little cold." She asks as I set the tray down. "Of course." I say and go grab her one of her UMSC shirts. "Thank you." She says and puts it on and we start eating our food.
Louri's POV
I notice something is on Scarlett's mind as she plays with her food so I put my fork down and move my tray onto my nightstand how she was able to carry two trays I'll never know. I turn to face her and place my hand gently on her cheek. "What's going on up here." I say tapping her temple with my index finger. "Nothing just never mind it's nothing." She says and it's clearly not nothing. "Do you mind?" I ask grabbing her tray to move it out of the way. "No I don't mind." She says so I move the tray next to mine. "Scarlett it's clearly not nothing. I'm your wife you can tell me anything." I tell her. "I love our family you know that right." She says. "Yes you are an amazing wife and mother." I say. "Well what if we expanded our family?" She says nervously. "I'd love nothing more than to have more kids with you." I tell her. "Really?" She asks and it sounds like she's going to cry. "Yes really and with me not being deployed as much I can help you more with the IVF shots. I'd be able to be home more and I think Maya and Lousia would make great big sisters we already know Devon is a great big brother." I tell her. "Thank you." She says launching herself into my arms. "Why are you thanking me?" I ask. "For being an amazing wife and the best partner anyone could ask for." She says. "When should we call the doctor to schedule an appointment to get started on the IVF?" She asks. "Why not right now." I say. "So we are doing this?" She asks. "Yes Baby we are doing this." I tell her before giving her a kiss filled with emotion.
