Hadrian and Tom had led their people and all who followed them through this exodus for nearly a week and a half; in that time, only one baby had been born early through the travels and no one had fallen ill and taken sick for any reason. It was a blessing in disguise; seeing as Hadrian had suspicions about whomever was outside the portal when it closed and sealed as they left. But if he was right about their identity; he needed to do some work to find how they knew to access his lands. Finally, the green spirt flame dragon had been lit and Hadrian messaged all the groups that they would be arriving very shortly in a couple more hours. The Vampire King sensed the relief in the groups. Many of them were growing weary of the long tunnel and traveling; especially those traveling with their kids or in a group where some opinions clashed.
Tom watched Hadrian silently with a look of consideration to him and then smiled softly, "How soon is the exit to appear?" He asked
Hadrian smirked as his eyes glowed with magic to them and made the green color vibrant as he then held his clawed hand out and Tom watched in awe as the gateway opened from literally seemingly nowhere. He smiled as they took the first steps into the warm and bright area; the warmth would do them all good right now.
Hadrian led them to a high-view and Tom stared to the new city below, and he wasn't alone. When one thought of a vampire city...this was not what one pictured.
(The Landscape of the Islands)
Hadrian looked to his mate and smiled gently, "Do you like the new place so far?" He asked him
Tom inclined as he breathed in to settle his excitement, "I do like it; it looks very bounteous and prosperous for a deserted set of islands in this new world we're on. There will be so much to explore and to learn about this place; it's plants, animals, and magic. But where exactly is the new settlement and town for all of us?"
Hadrian chuckled, "You cannot see it from here, mate. It's on the largest segment of the Islands to be able to have enough space for all of us. It's a short distance from here though. We'll need to follow this path here and make our way across two magical bridges that will connect to the main island."
Tom then wrapped an arm to Hadrian and grinned, "Lead the way, my vampire."
Hadrian smiled and cautiously warned the groups via Aerin's wide-range telepathy to be careful how they stepped; the terrain was not easy to cross.
It took them several hours at a modest pace to even get to the main island; simply due to the largeness of the group and needing to ensure everyone was there. But once they had broken over the cliffside and saw the vast lands and the diversity of them; everyone gasped, smiled and cheered for the sight a new home to call theirs.
