5 | Prepare for a Next Trip

In October, Shadow, Jennifer, and Laura returned home. From Monday to Wednesday, Shadow instructed Jennifer, Zryne, Tiffany, Olivia, and Laura to prepare for their upcoming trip. Their preparation involved a unique exercise: apprehending 10 manual criminals and practicing certain evasion techniques. Meanwhile, Jennifer and Laura planned to communicate with the other girls about the trip, while Shadow intended to brief the boys.

On Thursday, with the trip's preparation in full swing, Shadow asked the team to take a short break to stop distracting negatives, suggesting they reconvene the following Monday. This allowed Shadow to focus on his office work, which included intricate 3D modeling, image creation, and various design tasks. Driven by ambition, he hoped these projects would boost his earnings. Shadow made his way to his house, deciding to visit there before even considering stopping by Tiffany's place. Furthermore, he couldn't meet up with them. He had to remain solo, showing courage throughout his travels.

On Friday, Shadow traveled to Nuez City to make final preparations for an upcoming trip. He spent some time drawing mural art, perhaps capturing the city's essence before its transformation. Seeing the abandoned houses that were marked "for rent," he recognized an opportunity. He coordinated with local builders and climbed aboard a demolition vehicle, clearing out the old to make way for the new. With the city's landscape changing, Shadow then headed to the parliament building. The construction was nearly complete; all that remained was the installation of lights and the placement of furniture.

In the afternoon, Shadow dined in Butong, El Rapidos. Though the restaurant was closer to Isla Nuez than the capital city, San Rapidos, he chose not to venture there. As he tasted his meal, he realized he wasn't fond of it. It wasn't the European or Asian cuisine he might have preferred but an Arabian or Indonesian dish.

After he was done eating, he came back to Nuez City and was invited to discuss the city's redevelopment and to celebrate the upcoming journey with the government officers. During the celebration of the new road leading to the parliament building, he, along with other workers, mounted numerous lights atop ropes. These lights, reminiscent of Halloween, boasted cozy hues of light purple, bright orange, and yellow. The new road's beauty seemed to draw many people, eager to savor its view and journey. The parliament building might serve as the central landmark in Nuez City, especially after visitors arrive from the illuminated night street leading to the city's new road.

On Saturday, Shadow ventured into his garden to plant an assortment of fruits and vegetables. To his surprise, he found himself planting more vegetables than fruits. The list included cucumbers, chilis, tomatoes, and onions. However, before getting started, he first visited the greenhouse to purchase the necessary vegetable seeds.

On Sunday, a pivotal day for Shadow, he received a substantial sum of money. Government officers scheduled a meeting with him to finalize the details of an upcoming trip. Additionally, Shadow created a secret video tape, which, as he explained, serves as a crucial item that individuals should watch before the journey begins. He planned to head home early in the morning, but a delay in his flight from 21:00 to 21:35 made him wait. Once the time arrived, he boarded his private jet, setting course for his awaiting spaceship.

On Monday, Jennifer and Laura are buzzing with excitement. They are scheduled to meet their new friend, Eliza, along with their long-time companions, Tiffany and Olivia, for a practice session in preparation for their upcoming trip. Meanwhile, Shadow, dedicated as ever, immerses himself in his work. On the other side, Paul and Kent too have new faces to greet. Unlike Jennifer and Laura, who have Eliza, Paul and Kent will be collaborating with Kitsune, Yuki, Sakura, Professor Davis, and Dr. Aqua. The diversity in their group, with three women and two men, promises a unique blend of ideas for their trip preparations.

Tuesday sees Jennifer and Laura further expand their circle as they meet with Yuki. With Yuki's arrival, Shadow feels the need to introduce Benjamin to the group. As the day unfolds, the trio – Jennifer, Laura, and Yuki – embark on a course with Shadow and Benjamin watching over. Their objective is clear: to master a specific task, one that requires precision and patience. If Yuki and Benjamin don't execute it perfectly, Jennifer or Laura promptly corrects them, emphasizing the importance of saving changes correctly. However, the day's trials don't end there. Paul, aided by Evan and Kent, plays the role of the surprise element. They test the group's preparedness by trying to interrupt their session. Each time Paul and his group open the door, Yuki and Benjamin have to restart their task, adding another layer of challenge.

By Wednesday, the atmosphere is thick with anticipation. Tomorrow is the day they've all been preparing for – their trip to Isla Nuez. Tiffany, ever the planner, has the day mapped out. Their flight is scheduled for 07:10 on October 26, 2023. She insists everyone wake up by 04:00 to avoid any last-minute rushes. Shadow, always looking out for the group, advises them all to get a good night's rest, suggesting a bedtime of 20:00.

Thursday is a blur of excitement as they finally set foot in Samoko, ready to explore and create new memories.
