Scarlett’s POV
“Baby the earliest appointment they have is on your birthday. Is that ok with you?” Louri asks me since it is my birthday after all. “Best birthday ever.” I tell her. “Ok yes we will take it see you then Doc.” She tells Dr. Montgomery and hangs up. “Did you call Dr. Montgomery directly?” I ask her. “Yeah, remember she gave us her number.” She says. “Oh yeah I forgot.” I tell her. “Baby.” Louri says fiddling with her fingers. “I know we already named one of our kids after one of my men but if it’s a boy can we maybe use the name Thomas if you don’t want to. That's fine I just.” She says. “Thomas made me a promise when you were taken. He promised to bring you home to me and he did. I know I didn’t know Sargent Hendricks but I knew Tom. I loved him too. He was family and I would love it if we named them after him if it’s a boy.” I say and we wrap our arms around each other since we are both getting emotional. “Let’s wait to tell everyone till after I’m pregnant.” I say. “Agreed.” Louri says. “But I do want to know what the kids think since this will affect them too.” I tell her. “Yeah that sounds good. We can talk to them today when Chris drops them off.” Louri says.
Louri’s POV
“Thanks for watching them.” I tell Chris as he drops the kids off about an hour before dinner time like we agreed cause I do want to spend time with my kids on my birthday. “Happy birthday Mama.” Devon says. “Thank you little Marine.” I say giving him a big hug then I move to give the twins a hug as well. “Ok presents.” Scarlett says coming down the stairs with multiple gift bags. “Scarlett, we talked about this.” I whine. “Only one is from me, the rest is from our family and some of your unit.” She says. “Fine.” I tell her. We get through the gifts and some of them are funny gag gifts and Scarlett got me an ID style bracelet that has our wedding date engraved on it. “I am never taking this off.” I tell her. After dinner we talked to the kids about them possibly having a younger sibling. The twins were very confused but we gave them an explanation a two year old would understand. We put the twins to bed as Devon gets himself ready for bed because he says that he’s a big kid now and can do it himself. We go to tuck him in like we do everynight. “It has to be a boy. I need a little brother.” Devon says. “Well we don’t have any control over that buddy.” Scarlett says. “You have Mommy magic. Of course you do.” He says very seriously. “Oh is that how it works?” I ask with a chuckle. “Yes it is.” He says. “And what if it's a girl?” Scarlett asks. “That’s ok too. But I would like a brother.” He says. “Ok Angel it’s time to go to sleep now, remember you can’t tell anyone yet.” Scarlett tells him. “I won’t. Good night Mama goodnight Mommy.” He says. “Good night little Marine.” “Good night Angel.” Scarlett and I say before turning out the light and heading to our room.
Scarlett’s POV
I fall asleep in Louri’s safe embrace like I do every night. Next thing I know Louri is shaking me and calling my name and she sounds worried. “What’s going on? Is everyone ok?” I ask when I see the worried expression on her face. “I should be asking you that you were calling my name.” She says placing her hand on my cheek and my heats up and then her worried expression turns into a smirk. “You weren’t having a nightmare were you?” She says. “No I wasn’t.” I say shyly. “What was I doing in the dream? I might be able to make it a reality.” She says. “If you did you’d wake the kids.” I tell her. “Ok but can I still know what happened?” She asks. “Ok so I was cooking in the kitchen and you just came home from the office and wrapped your arms around me like you always do. You told me you had a surprise for me since the kids were apparently at Liz’s. I asked what the surprise was and you pressed your hips against my ass and I could feel that you were wearing the strap under your uniform and you asked if I wanted you to fuck me with it and I said only if you’re rough so you ripped my leggings and undid the belt of your pants and fucked me hard right then and there.
