„Arghh" Beomgyu exclaimed frustratedly as he tossed around on his bed. He couldn't sleep. He was the only one still awake in the TXT dorm and he just wasn't able to even drift off to a slumber. His roommate, Taehyun was sleeping peacefully.
Beomgyu was tired. More than tired. He was desperate to sleep. Watching Taehyun sleep so purely made him feel worse and more frustrated to the point where his eyes welled up. Beomgyu's tears started pouring silently as he tried not to make too much noise that could wake the younger one up.
He failed to cry silently as he sniffled loudly, waking his member up without any intention to do so. Taehyun sat up tiredly when he figured that it wasn't in his head. He looked around, seeing his hyung sobbing helplessly in his pillow. Taehyun rushed to his side, wrapping his arms around his shoulder.
„Hey, hyung, what's the matter? What got you all worked up, honey?" Taehyun started, knowing that sweet names could help his hyung calm down. Beomgyu just sobbed in his dongsaeng's embrace.
„I-I...can't s-s-sleep, Hyunie..." Beomgyu cried out holding as tight as possible. Taehyun's heart broke. Seeing his hyung in this distress made him feel really bad and guilty for not waking up earlier. He thought for a moment before comforting Beomgyu enough that his sobs became soft sniffles.
Taehyun pulled Beomgyu gently with him on the bed to lie down and he started rubbing the space between Beomgyu's eyebrows with his thumb.
„Tell me about your day, sweetie," Taehyun instructed softly, Beomgyu looked at him confused.
Taehyun gave him a reassuring smile and the older started talking. He told all the things about his day as Taehyun listened intently.
Beomgyu felt his eyes get heavy but it soon went away and he whimpered again as another round of tears came to his eyes.
Taehyun noticing this, started softly singing a song that his hyung loves. That made the older relax, giving Taehyun a gentle squeeze on his arm, letting him know that he appreciated the help.
Taehyun's soothing voice affected Beomgyu. It quickly made him get drowsy. The younger kept singing for a while, not noticing that the older had fallen asleep.
After Taehyun finished the last song. He looked at his hyung, seeing him sleep peacefully. The younger was now too lazy to go back to his bed, even though it was a few meters away from Beomgyu's, he slept with Beomgyu on his bed.
