Since we got back to Arkadia, I tried telling Bellamy that what happened to Mount Weather wasn't his fault. We all believed what Echo was saying, besides probably Pike, but even Pike went along with us. Bellamy just wasn't listening to me like he normally does. I could feel his guilt constantly radiating off of him.

I stood outside with Octavia and Bear, while Bellamy went inside to do talk to Kane. That's when we saw Nyko along with a few others enter our gates.

As Octavia and I ran up to them I could hear Nyko saying, "they need help. They're sick."

I quickly made my way over to a woman who could hardly stand to help her inside. I took note of the tension between Octavia and the guard, but brushed it off when Octavia came to aid me. I had an off feeling that something was going on within our camp, like a separation of sorts.

As soon as I got them all settled in med bay, I had to leave. The memorial was starting soon and I was supposed to meet with Bellamy. I'm not sure that going to this memorial was the best idea for him, but I wasn't going to be the one to stop anyone from going to this.

I entered the large room with Bear by my side. Bear quickly made his way over to Bellamy so it was easy for me to find where he sat. I grabbed a seat next to him as Pike walked up to face the crowd. He began announcing names of people who have passed in Mount Weather and called up others to speak on their behalf.

It was really difficult to sit through. So many names were being called, so many lives lost. Bellamy had placed his hand on my leg, it made me notice that I was bouncing it up and down like crazy. I stopped my leg from it's movement and took Bellamy's hand in mine.

A few more people got to speak before everyone heard Pike yelling from behind us. Bellamy and I both stood up and turned around to see what was going on.

Pike was raging at Abby and Kane, "you gave a grounder one of our radios?!"

Everyone else in the room was watching them now too. Kane tried to diffuse it, "they're allies. The troops were sent here for protection."

"There's three hundred of them surrounding our camp with weapons! If their commander wants to protect us, tell her to send them away! We can protect ourselves," Pike announced.

This made me think Pike really didn't know much about Ice Nation. I trusted that Clarke allowed for the army to be here with good intentions, so it was most likely in our best interest to have the grounders around our camp. The Ice Nation has thousands of soldiers, they could wipe out Arkadia in minutes if they wanted to.

Now there was commotion happening all over the room. People were yelling to send them away, I was surprised that most of them were on Pike's side of this.

What really shocked me was when someone yelled at Lincoln, "he's one of them! You don't belong here!"

It's like everyone forgot all he's done for us. I watched as someone launched a rock across the room. It hit Lincoln's head hard, he stumbled backwards from the impact. I went to run over to him, but Bellamy grabbed my arm for some reason. I pushed him off of me and continued to Lincoln.

"Are you okay?" I asked once I stood in front of him.

"Fine," he simply answered back, he was wincing.

"You're going to need stitches. Please go to med bay," I tried to help. Lincoln didn't say anything, he just turned around to walk out.

A loud whistle rang through the room, catching everyone's attention. I saw that it was Pike who'd done it.

"We do not attack our own! Fighting each other makes us weak! The enemy is not in this camp, the enemy is out there," Pike lectured.

I ran to find Octavia to let her know what happened to Lincoln after the ruckus in the room calmed down. Once I did, she took off to med bay while I made my way into the dining hall. I assumed Bellamy was in there because we were all supposed to share a meal after the memorial.

When I walked in I spotted him right away, he was sitting across the table from Pike. His face was serious, they seemed like they have been talking for a bit. Then I was confused when I saw them cheers their shot glasses. I took note of how often Pike and Bellamy exchanged conversation, ever since we found Farm Station they seemed to be speaking to each other about secretive topics. Not even I knew what they conversed about.

I wouldn't be able to handle any more personal questions from Pike without booze in my system. I walked over to the counter that had moonshine lined up in jars and began pouring. I downed a few to make me feel buzzed and less tense before I went over to them.

As I approached, I saw Bellamy nodding towards Pike but their talking stopped at my arrival. There was something they didn't want me to hear.

"What's going on?" I questioned with my eyes bouncing between Pike and Bellamy.

"Bellamy was telling me about how you found your dog," Pike said. He just lied to me, I could tell by Bellamy's uncomfortable shift in his body language. I made it clear I didn't believe him with my facial expression. Pike knew how smart I really was, he didn't want me to figure out what he was actually saying.

"Lincoln's going to be okay," I said to see if I could get a reaction. Pike said nothing but Bellamy nodded to me.

I signed with my hands to Bellamy, 'can I talk to you?'

Bellamy gave Pike one last look before standing up from the table. I turned to walk out of the dining hall with him following me. Once we were in the hallways, I spun around to look at Bellamy.

"He just lied straight to my face. Tell me what's going on," I said to Bellamy, keeping my voice hushed. Bellamy gazed at me like he should've known that I saw right through Pike's lie.

"I know, I'm sorry Kota. You're really going to have to trust me on this, okay?" He said to me, his eyes never leaving my face.

"I trust you, but I don't think I trust him after what happened at the memorial," I replied. Pike openly argued against the chancellor's decisions.

"You just need to trust me," Bellamy assured. I nodded to him to confirm I did. Bellamy reached his fingers up to my chin and moved my head to tilt up more. He bent down to place a soft kiss on my lips. "You got into the moonshine."

I let out a small laugh at the thought of him tasting it off my lips, "yeah. I didn't think it would taste so horrible."

Bellamy gave me a small smile before leaning down to kiss me once more.

"Let's go see your mom," Bellamy said as he pulled away. I haven't checked on her grave in a few days and I was telling Bellamy on the way home from Polis how guilty I felt about it.

Bear and I followed him outside as we made our way over to visit where my mom laid to rest.
