3rd person POV

"Alright number zero. We'll be trying a new exercise today." Reginald said, standing on the other side of the glass.

"You will choose one friend of your choice to join you."

"Ben." Y/N said.

"I want Ben."

"Very well. Grace! Bring number six down here." Reginald said.

Grace went upstairs and shortly came back down with Ben holding her hand.

She let go and Reginald opened the door, signaling him to go in.

Ben stepped in the room and the door closed again.

Y/N ran up to him and gave him a tight hug.

"Ben....I'm scared." She said, in a shaky voice.

"M-me too. But......whatever it is.....we'll get through it together. Okay?"

"Okay."

"Number zero. You will test your ability on number six."

"What?! No! I can't! I'll do anything else, please!!"

"You made the decision to be with him. Now you must use him as practice."

"No!! You can't make me!!!" Y/N screamed.

Lightning quickly flashed in the young girl's eyes.

"Do it. Or neither of you will be aloud to come out." Reginald ordered.

Y/N looked to Ben as tears formed in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, Benny." She said quietly, lifting her hands in his direction.

Ben layed unconscious in the infirmary. Y/N stood on the side of his bed, holding his hand tightly.

"I'm sorry, Ben." She cried.

"I'm so sorry." She cried again.

1st person POV

I knocked on the bathroom door.

"Busy." Klaus said from inside.

I opened the door and saw him hunched over the toilet crying.

"Hey." I said.

He turned his head to look at me.

"Hey...." He said quietly with a sniffle.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Yeah....I just..."

"Please talk to me, Klaus. You're my best friend, I want to help you."

"Well you can't." He said, getting up and shoving me out of his way.

"Klaus!"

I ran after him.

"Just....go away." Klaus groaned, stopping in the main room.

"Oh, good. You're both up. We need to talk. All of us. You, you, me, and the others. So meet me in the living room." Luther said.

He turned around and I followed but Klaus didn't move.

We both stopped and turned to him.

"Like, now-ish." Luther said.

"Yeah, that sounds like a real rager, but my schedule's already chock-full." Klaus said.
