CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
THE HEIR---*---
IMPERIUM REALM-Training Camp-
A frustrated face was printed on Leviath, helplessly looking at his wife. "My Luna, do you trust me?"
Their ears were muffled from the sounds of the clashing metals and conflicting forces yet the environment appeared to have become lighter as they stared into one other's eyes."More than anyone else," Antonia mumbled her words as they disappeared without a trace, leaving Dahrleen fought the raging Emperor.
After the disappearance of the King and Queen of Tahomma Kingdom with their son, rumors started to circulate the training grounds. Of course, the Thala people were the first one to hear about the news. They wondered why would they vanish without notice. Therefore, a rumor was created by an unknown person about the Cumulian Santos couple defying the Emperor's decision due to the uncertainty created by the couple.Woosh!
The wind carried the news for the Imperium trainees that they assumed that it does make sense to why the skies had changed. In every breaktime, they will chatter about the rumor that they heard from the mouths of their trainers. Obviously, this made the twin's felt uncomfortable with the stares they received. This was a new feeling for them. As the sons of a clever woman and a strong man, they were never looked down by anyone directly. But this new atmosphere enveloping their very frame, they felt the incoming fall of their kingdom.
'Tahomma... Please stand strong,' Lee wished for the continuous prosperity of their land to which he began to doubt. Back when he was in the Humania Realm, human civilization gradually pushed to the light and modernity as they fell behind. 'Guardians? To which reason we were called that?'
"Is it really true that Princess Consort Dahrleen will lead a rebellion against the Emperor?" one malicious whisper, the others will counter or follow.
Twitch.
The Young Princes and Young Princesses that were seating on the same table as the twins had enough of their petty talk, rounding their fists.
Before one of them could even speak up, a short-legged person entered the dinning hall with an overwhelming aura wrapping her. Under her eyes were black bags as her skin was paler than her skin tone.
GAM!
"Rumors here, rumors there!" she shouted like a drunk man, walking in a zigzag manner. But as she stomp her foot, the ground had a shaking motion.
Shake.
"And all of you are suppose to be warriors of the realm!" She pointed to everyone in a sober tone. Her finger landed on Leonard that was already staring at her.
Her cupid-shaped lips were pursed as the curls on her brown hair elevates, painting a disappointed face. No doubt that it was Miri, who appeared as she haven't had a sleep for a century. On top of that, her appearance was indeed terrifying that's enough to send goosebumps on those that will meet her eyes.
"And you! Hic," she hiccupped, marching to Leonard then grabbed his collar. "You were mighty!"
Hic...
"Pff..." Kaira zipped her lips to prevent her laughter to escape, even closing her mouth to avoid conflict.
Miri's action made entire hall be stunned. Even though they talked behind the backs of royal member, they will not dare to attack them like that. How foolish indeed?
Tsk.
"You were suppose to be brave! And now you cower under foolish mouths," she scoffed with a hint of dismay, letting Leonard's shirt go. She then, turned to Lee that was also staring at her actions. "Tch, a smart one here is also acting like an idiot under a rock!"
