No one's pov

Wren lay on the floor of the cell, the chains around her arms and neck pulling her closer to the wall then she would've liked, but at this point she was glad she was still alive. Breathing was a challenge for her since there was this heavy metal mask that clamped her mouth shut and covered her half of her face with the thick metal that was connected to the chain around her neck. Multiple bones in her body were broken, or at least felt like it to her with how much of her hurt. Her arms were stuck behind her back, the chains trapping them together painfully. No one had come by to hit or to give her scraps for... weeks, she had already lost hope that anyone was going to find her or try too at the least, but there was still a fraction of her that thinks so. The pool of blood around her grew slowly, she could barely keep her eyes open with how tired she was and the small light that hang from the ceiling was dying, like Claire. Her vision blurred as a figure came into view, then it all went black.

Silver's pov

I walk inside the house and walk downstairs to the basement of this creepy house. She had to be down here. There was no other spot that wren could be hidden. Two cops trailed behind me as we walk through the dark hall, at the end there was a dim light right in front of a cell. I stop in front of the cell and point my flashlight at the shape on the ground. It was wren... She lay in a pool of blood, eyes closed "um... Guys I think i found her" I call to the others while looking at the lock on the door and picking it with my lock-picking set and it creaked open as the others looked inside. I push the door open and walk inside, sitting down infont of wren. 'what... happened...?' I think while looking over the chains that trapped her to the far wall and I started poking at the locks on her arms and neck, but the one thing that worried me was how I was going to get the metal mask off her face. I carefully pry the chains away from her neck and arms trying to not hurt her more then she is already "what did I tell you" I sigh jokingly as a tear silently slides down my face as I feel around the mask till I find a small key hole at the back of her head. I step over her and start working on the lock for the mask. The sound of a soft click filled me with relief and the mask popped open. I pull the mask off her face very gently, once it was off I chuck it to the corner and roll her onto her back, I pick her up. I carry wren up and out of the house to where everyone else was, at this point I didn't care how much blood had seeped into my clothes, I just wanted to keep wren safe from everything. My mother walks up to me and looks down at wren "is she alright?" "I don't know" I reply as a medic comes over and asks me to take her to the ambulance where a stretcher was sitting. I lay her down on the stretcher and they pull her inside the ambulance. The rest of the night was filled with questions, little too no answers and headaches. Me and my parents get into the car and start driving home. "what did you see down there" my father spoke breaking the silence and I grip the wheel harder, I don't say anything for a second "she was chained to the wall, bands around her arms and chains around her neck. She wore a metal mask that clamped her mouth shut and she was laying in a pool of her own blood..." I reply choking on my words as I come to a red light and the car goes silent again. I pull into the driveway and walk inside, my parents trailing behind me quietly. I sit on the couch and rest my head in my hands "I just don't know what to do" I say combing my fingers through my hair "Silver, we will go and check up on Wren tomorrow morning, but right now you need to get some rest" my mother said, resting a hand on my shoulder "ok... ok" I sigh taking off my jacket and hanging it up on the coat tree and left my shoes near the door and heading to my room. sleep barely came that night, nightmares about Wren played the entire night and the next morning, my mother came into my room and turned on the lights "ok, we're leaving soon if you wanna see Wren today" she says as I cover my face with the blanket groaning "just let me get dressed before we leave" I grumble "be quick" she says and closes the door, i sit up and drag myself out of bed to get changed. I walk out of my room to the living room "I'm ready" we get in the car and start driving to the hospital that Wren was taken too. We get there, we find the room and I was the first one to go see her. I slowly open the door and step in, she was laying in the bed still asleep, I pull a chair up to the side of the bed and sat down. Half of her face was bandaged and most of her body was too, I rest my hand on top of hers "this was all my fault..." I mumble tubing my face with my free hand. I freeze in place when I feel Wren's hand flip over, and weakly grip mine "no..." She practically whispers and I look up from the floor "I'm so happy that your alive" I hold her hand between mine and held it up to my forehead "me to" she sighed half awake. She was so thin and boney 'how long was she down there' I think while looking around the room and say "how long have you been awake?" She shifts more to her side "woke up a few moments... ago...from a... nightmare" her words slurred a bit, but not enough to be an issue "hm... Random question, how long had you been in there?" I ask, she stops a thinks for a long while untill "I... Don't know, I don't even know how I got back into the city, I live in the wood-" she starts to cough for a few seconds and stops, wincing at the pain and resting her free hand on her stomach "I just don't know..." She murmured softly looking at the ceiling, then there was a knock on the door and my mother walked in with my dad. Wren sat up and leaned against the head board, my parents sit down in the two other chairs. Wren stares down at her hands that rested on her lap "are you alright?" Mom asked "for the most part..." Wren responds looking up at her with her one eye "what happened to your eye?" She asked and wren's hand immediately went to touch the bandage on her face "it was either, a slash or chemical that made it go blind, I can't see out this one anymore..." Wren says sighing heavily "the entire thing is hard to... Talk about, I'd rather not. I know that you all have a lot of questions... I'm sorry" she held the side of her face that was bandaged "that's alright, if you are not comfortable with that then we won't talk about it" dad said "thank you" she mumbles laying down and staring at the ceiling. A doctor came in at some point "how is she?" My mom asked "well, let me start the list. She has a stab wound in her stomach, 4 broken ribs, she's malnourished and dehydrated, several cuts and buries on her arms and legs and a blind eye" he finishes "I couldn't have guessed myself" wren says sarcastically in a bored voice "it's just to be sure Wren" I say knowing that it really was obvious that she had been stabbed or turtured "you will have to stay untill your stab wound is healed and your stable again" the doctor spoke to Wren who was still starting at the ceiling "are you saying I'm mentally ill or something, because even if I'm not 'stable' I will find help when I'm out of here" she spoke, taking a quick glance at me "it's not the time to fight amber" I said calmly and then Ambers red eye looked right at me "why isn't it?" She asked smoothly "you can fight when Wren's healed, because her body won't take your force right now" I say, now everyone's eyes were on me, but I was focused on amber "fine. Your no fun" she said leaving, switching back to Wren who closed her eyes instantly and passed out. "What was that?" The doctor asked "she's got multiple personality disorder" "oh, that makes sense, I'll leave you three be" the doctor said, leaving "how did you know?" Mom asked me "she told me, more wrote to me, but that was a while ago" I rest my head on Wren's bed, listening to the beeps of the heart rate monitor that she was hooked up to. We sat in the room for about 1/2 hour and then we decided to leave.
