"You are boring."

Were the only words that rang out on that rooftop. The man who had lost simply sat there with his head hanging low.

"If it was something like Poker, you might have won easily. If I feel like it, I'll come to take your life."

The black-haired man said as he put his blazer back on. The other man, simply smiled to himself with an ear-to-ear grin. He watched as the enigmatic man walked away with his posse of people in black and white suits, and he would eventually walk off as well, looking at the star-filled night above him. As he walked down the street, he said to the sky above,

"You and I were meant for a fate like this."

"DOO-DOO, DOO-DOO"

Baku's eyes snap open as he sits up and looks around. He grabs his phone and shuts off the alarm quickly.

"Hm... what an odd dream..."

He put his hand atop the scar on his chest and swung out of bed while grabbing a small wrapped Kariume (a dried pickled plum) off his nightstand and carried it with him. He picked up the red uniform blazer with yellow lining and got ready to start from zero once again.

As he was adjusting his tie, he checked the time on his watch, and immediately panicked.

"Ah! I'm gonna miss the bus!"

He runs out of the place and when he gets to the bus stop, he's drenched in sweat but manages to keep it off his blazer.

"HUFF HUFF HUFF HUFF"

He rubbed the scar on his chest once again.

"Damn, I forgot about that..."

Was the only thing he said through ragged breaths before getting onto the bus and taking a seat in the back row. He looked out the window at the landscape passing by his deep blue eyes.

"This should be interesting."

He said as he peeled back the wrapper of another Kariume.
