Ch 1: Breeze bringing you to me

Okay! New year, new class, new Cooper. Or so, he thought. He stumbled quickly into the classroom only seconds before the sound of the second bell rang. Phew, as he made it just in time.

"Yo, Cooper!" Called over Sam, Cooper's close friend since childhood.
Seeing someone familiar, he sighed a breath of relief. The lanky, brunet boy then sat down at the back centre of the full classroom, joining his friend.

Luckily, the teacher had left to go catch other mischievous kids smoking outside. Allowing the late Cooper to sneak to his spot. He quickly settled in, laughing carelessly along with Sam.

However, a sudden light breeze flew swiftly past Cooper's face. The teasing wind brought him to turn towards the window to his left, at the other end of the room.

What met his gaze was two dark, velvety eyes of a boy. With the wind playing with his black hair and the warm sunshine radiating on his chocolate brown skin, he looked truly heavenly in Cooper's eyes.

Quickly, the mysterious boy then shifted his vision from Cooper's direction, only displaying his side profile to the other.

'Who are you?'Cooper wondered.

His amazed focus was chaotically interrupted by the loud boom of a voice. A burly man with an auburn beard stomped into the class,
"Damn, I couldn't get them, I'll have to report them to the office... anyway, welcome students to..."

However, the strong introduction was slowly drowned out of Cooper's ears as he slowly peeked at the beauty again.

The boy wasn't paying any attention to him at all, but laughing quietly with his friend, his back facing the other curious boy.

"Reece! Stop jabbing with your mate and hand out these worksheets!" Announced the teacher from before.

A sly, yet beaming smile appeared on Cooper's face. 'Reece', he couldn't help but puff out a laugh, 'What a perfect name'.

As the other stood slowly from his desk, Cooper could fully analyse his figure. Not short, but not taller than Cooper, the calm boy took the sheets from the teacher,
'He seems so innocent', thought Cooper.

Reece began wandering the room, briskly handing the sheets to others, gaining closer to Cooper. With every movement Reece made, Cooper found adorable, the way he hopped from one student to another, smiling at each one, and damn he had a beautiful smile. Cooper was truly breath-taken, this unknown boy was like a rare gem Cooper luckily stumbled upon.

The dazed Cooper sat starstruck, before he could even digest what was happening, Reece was already standing parallel to him.

The scent of his minty cologne was like a breath of fresh air for Cooper. Unconsciously, he inched closer before instantly being brought back to reality. Freezing in his spot, staring upwards lovingly at Reece.

Yet, instead of placing the paper on Cooper's desk like Reece had done previously, what appeared in front of Cooper was Reece's reached-out hand gently holding the sheet. With Reece not smiling but now timidly staring at the boy sitting.

Cooper wasn't sure if he had become delusional or Reece had actually noticed him.

'I'll see how he reacts and then I will know if he is interested.', simply concluded Cooper.

The quick-witted Cooper then took the opportunity to caress the others' hands while grabbing the paper in Reece's hand.

The feeling of cool, supple skin made Cooper want to indulge in Reece even more, rubbing the others hand subtly making a move on the other.

But what would happen next would truly make Cooper fall head over heels instantly.

He then glimpses up to see the red, blushing face of Reece, shyly looking away. However, he wasn't resisting the weak attempts of seduction from Cooper.

Suddenly flustered from the adorable reaction of the other, Cooper releases the grip he had on Reece. Embarassed, Cooper looks down hiding his obvious rosy cheeks. Feeling warm heat rise to the tips of his ears.

Not until the distant footsteps of the other walking away did Cooper sit up straight again, aiming to look natural.

The confused Sam sat boggled in his seat.
"Dude, why're you so red?"asked Sam.
'I'm fucked', thought the miserable yet heart-pounding Cooper.

Hi👋 This is my first novel🫠 Honestly, this is a fiction on these two boys from my school😹 But their just so zesty and cute together, and I couldn't help but write about them.🤭 So, not everything is fiction in this novel. Anyway, this story is love at first sight, fluff but also smutty 😘 Becoming friends or potentially more with someone you didn't even notice in the halls before 😲Anyway, thank you Cooper and Reece for being my inspiration ❤️
