When it rains, the night begins to have a cool breeze. Yunjin starts to feel chills as she wanders her way back to her cozy apartment. Entering, she takes her shoes off and placed them beside the closed door of her apartment. Yunjin laid her coat on the rack and was greeted by her wonderful roomate with a warm welcoming smile. She was your childhood best friend who has been by Yunjin's side since day one.

Maybe not entirely. Strangers around them would mistakenly them both as sisters. That is how close those two were. Always had each others back.

"Yunjin, you're back!" The young woman hugged in excitement.

"Oh yeah, sorry I thought I would like to get some fresh air. Today was a long day." Yunjin chuckled in response while hugging Seori back.

The two close best friends remained still in their hugged until Yunjin let out a cough. Seori noticed and let go of Yunjin. She watched as Yunjin left to enter her bedroom. Seori waited for her while sitting on the couch in the shared living room.

Suddenly, Seori heard a loud clang outside the apartment complex. She decided to open the door of the shared apartment to peek outside to see what made that loud noise. All Seori saw were a group of teenagers throwing cans inside a dumpster bin.

"Aish, youngsters these days." Seori whispered to herself as she closes and locks the door back.

"Whatcha whispering about bestie?" Yunjin asked with a questionable look.

"Nothing, I thought heard something but it was just a group of teenagers acting up outside." Seori exhaled in relief.

Yunjin dragged Seorl to their shared bedroom. As soon as their body hits the comfy bed, they began to cuddle. Yunjin wraps her arm around Seori to help her fall asleep because she noticed that the young women began to shiver from the coldness. Yunjin swiftly falls asleep holding Seori.

November 12th 7:03am

Yunjin was awoken by the bright sunlight beaming outside from her window. Yunjin rubbed her eyes as she got up from the bed without waking up the sleeping beauty next to her. Yunjin heads towards the shared bathroom to wash up and put on a new set of fresh clothes. Yunjin walks out of the bathroom meeting Seori, who just woke up from a peaceful slumber.

"Good morning beautiful" Yujin flashed a smile at the woman who was still in bed.

"Morning, what time is it Yunjin?" Seori replied in a husky voice while stretching.

"Mmm, it's 7:40 am. I'll cook you some breakfast while you get dress, okay?" Yunjin responded heading towards the kitchen.

"Ahhh, thank you Jinnie you are the best!" Seori burst out while showing a cheeky smile.

Seori hopped right out of bed and jumped into the shower. After showering, Seori smelled the scent of homemade pancakes and cinnamon. She knew that Yunjin can cook but somehow it always took her by surprise every single time.

"Breakfast is ready Seori!" Yunjin voiced, loud enough for Seori to hear.

"I'm coming!" Seori replied running into the kitchen.

Seori was surprised to see french toast, pancakes, blueberries, strawberries, and a cup of coffee neatly placed on their shared table. Seori was in awe when she realised what her best friend did for her.

"Yunjin you shouldn't have." Seori said in calming yet loving tone.

"Of course I have to Seori, you're my best friend! I'll do anything for you. It's my job to take care of you." Yunjin chuckled and walks up close to Seori's face to squeeze her cheeks.

"Ahhh~ stop it Yunjin you know I get fluster when you do that." Seori pouted.

"I can't help it. you're too cute!" Yunjn let out a giggle.

Seori and Yunjin sat down at the table chomping down the food Yunjin cooked for the both of them and exchange conversations.

After a long conversation, Seori and Yunjin were interupted by a phone call from Yunjin's phone. Yunjin decided to head towards her phone to answer. As soon as she picks up her phone the call has ended. She walks back into the kitchen to find her best friend missing. Yunjin begins to panic.

She never would have thought that this would happen to her. Yunjin begins to feel her heart sink but she noticed there's a note left on her table.

The note:

If you want your best friend back alive bring me 135,033,000 wons. You have less than 2 weeks. If I don't have it til then, say goodbye to your friend. - L.M.

Yunjin crumbles the notes that's in her right hand and runs her fingers through her while letting out a heavy breathy sigh.

"What am I going to do? Where am I going to get this money? There has to be another way to save my Seori." Yunjin spoke to herself.

Yunjin grabbed her coat and started searching for her best friend.
