Chapter 1 - A Brush with Speed

The deafening roar of Formula 1 engines filled the air, drowning out any other sounds on the Silverstone circuit. In the middle of this cacophony, I was sitting on the edge of the runway, clutching a sketchbook to my chest. My eyes were fixed on the sleek and colorful cars as they sped past in a blur, my heart pounding in tandem with the vehicles.

I was no stranger to the art world, where my life usually revolved around canvases and brushes. But today was different. Today, I was immersed in the high-speed world of Formula 1, thanks to my brother Carlos Sainz, a rising star of the sport. His talent had brought me here, right in the heart of the racetrack.

As the cars drove by, I couldn't help but marvel at the kinetic art on display. The speed, the precision, the daring overshoots – it was all a thrilling symphony that captured my imagination in a way my paintings never had.

Amidst the rush and excitement after the first day of practice, one face stood out in the sea of ​​pit crew members and racing fans, Charles Leclerc, who took P2 today and I'm much prouder of him than he  thinks.

"Charles, congrats, P2, this is a very good start, good job buddy"
