So you have decided to stay and to treasure my adventures . . . I remember my first day entering the Enterprise . . .

The unfamiliar gold beams of the USS Enterprise surrounds me as I am transported from Starfleet into the ship. One of the head people from Starfleet told me that I was needed; I founded it quite unusual. When the beams stopped glowing then faded off, I looked around at my new surroundings to what seemed to be the Teleporting Room.

"Ms. Silverblade," I heard a thick Southern accent coming from what to presumed to be the head of Engineering.

I spoke, "Yes Sir?"

His brown eyes looked into my icy blue ones. "Montgomery Scott. Welcome aboard the USS Enterprise. You may call me Scotty; that's what everyone here seems to call me. I will lead you to the Bridge where the Captain of the Beauty is waitin' for ya."

We both walked quietly through doorways, elevators, and hallways until Scotty broke the silence.

"So what are you doing here lad?"

"The Head of Starfleet said that you needed me," I replied keeping my head straight ahead with my hands behind my back.

He nodded, "Ah, yes laddy. It seems like the Captain needs you fro something but he wouldn't tell me a thing. What I'm guessing is you're going to be somewhere in my field."

I slightly raised my eyebrows but quick enough not to let him notice. "Actually Scotty, I am a Martial Artist. I personally can't figure out why I am needed at the most experienced ship which you have 400 people working on this Young Lady."

The doors opened with a swoosh as I was revealed to what Scotty was referring to the Bridge. I saw the Captain turn around his chair to face me.

"You can go back to your post now Scotty." He nodded then walked out to the room. The Captain gave a broad smile. "I am James Tiberius Jim Kirk, Commander of the USS Enterprise."

He stood up walking towards my direction and offered his hand; I shook it, "Stryder Silverblade, Captain."

"Welcome aboard Silverblade. Oh, Mr. Spock, would you please escort the young lady to Sickbay for her annual?" Mr. Spock had his back to me then he turned around. The first thing that I noticed was his pointed ears then his high-arched eyebrows. Vulcan. He walked towards me, "If you will follow me Ms. Silverblade . . . " Mr. Spock spoke in a rather monotone voice; I let him lead take the lead as I followed closely behind him but not that close. Within a few minutes, we were what Captain Kirk called Sickbay. A nurse walked up to me. "This way Ma'am." I nodded following her, leaving Mr. Spock back to the Bridge.

The nurse that took me in, told me to sit down and relax while she took my blood pressure, heart rate, and a sample of my blood which looked a bit odd in color. She started to analyze the blood sample then called Mr. McCoy. Before the nurse left, she gave him the chart that she created, then left, giving us some privacy. An average man, about this mid 30's to early 40's walked up to me slowly since he was reading the information that he got from the nurse. He looked up from the results and gave me a friendly smile. "Dr. Leonard McCoy. You may call me Bones if you like."

I gave a small nod, "Stryder Silverblade, Doctor."

"Nice to meet you Stryder. Now about your chart here, your blood pressure is awfully-"

I coughed then I looked down, "A-About that Doctor . . . I . . . "

He looked down at the blood sample realizing it's a lighter color. Bones looked at me, "Let me see them Stryder."

"Ah no no no no no!" I stood up quickly from sitting down on the bed and ran across the room to the sliding doors. Bones rang the Communicator and called Mr. Spock, quietly while he was getting out a syringe and a bottle of chloroform. Bones filled it then started to eye me carefully with the syringe in hand. I continued to back up to the doors until I heard a swoosh, I turned around and about to make a run for it then I felt a sharp pain running though the left side of my body. Vulcan Never Pinch. I was thinking a bit slower than usual due to lack of oxygen going through my body then I collapsed, blacking out unconscious. Mr. Spock was the one who caught me in his arms then he looked at Bones with raised eyebrows. "That seemed to be fascinating," he said to Bones as he nodded, walking towards Mr. Spock, reached out to my left arm to put the syringe in it.

Bones looked at Spock, "I would like you to stay here until she wakes up Mr. Spock. You can probably get more information out of her than I can."

"Very well," Mr. Spock laid me down on the bed and watched over me.
