Plot
Chicago, 1980s
Edith had only deficits. There was nothing she could do that she wouldn't mess up. She was a high school drop out, a coward and, all in all, futureless. And she knew that.
Swinging between being satisfied with her boring and pathetic life and sliding into harsh episodes of self hatred and harm, she simply existed day by day.
Until she did something unusual:
Saving a man called Aryan.
Aryan, also known as the man she saved, did something even more unusual:
Blackmailing Edith to marry him and to move with him to Chicago.
Forced to leave her hometown behind, she learned that there was one person she could hate even more than herself.
And she learned that she shared with Aryan more similarities than thought, because even he had his very dark secrets.
