▌ 𝐋𝐘𝐃𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 to walk into the school without being seen by Henry Bowers.

He would always make fun of Lydia for not having any friends. Lydia was never really good at making friends, though.

She didn't get why. She was nice to everyone. Except for Henry whenever he would pick on her.

Lydia made it to the side of the school, thinking that she had avoided him, but she was wrong.

"Hey, friendless!" Bowers said. "Bowers, that is so old. Give it up already." Lydia said.

"Oh yeah, well, too bad that you are the reason your parents got divorced." The Bowers boy spoke.

Lydia froze at that. She didn't like hearing the words. From him or her mother.

"Take that back!" Lydia raised her voice. "Never." Henry grinned as he walked away. She could feel tears in her eyes. The tears that she was forcing to keep in.

Lydia tried to make it seem like it didn't bother her, or at least until she was alone. When she was alone, she was able to let it out.

"I'm glad tomorrow is the last day of school." Lydia muttered. She began to walk into the school.

Bowers was standing by the doorway with his group. They all snickered and laughed as she walked by. Lydia just put her head down to face her shoes to avoid eye contact.

"Assholes." She muttered. When she got to her locker, she found a note taped to it.

She took it off and looked at what it said. '𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠 𝑏𝑖𝑡𝑐ℎ' it said. She crumbled the paper up and threw it in the trash can.

She proceeded to put her things in the locker and head to class. Her first class was math, so she didn't have to walk far from her locker.
