Today's the day, the day Alex will confess his feelings to Audrey and form a new bond with her. He just hopes that it won't end up poorly like his relationship with Ashley.
He immediately ran out of the house and went off to buy a bouquet of flowers, he looks at the bouquet with joy seeing the flowers give off a colorful and lively display, the fragrance wafting to his nose making him feel calm and relaxed.
Alex shortly arrived at the park 30 minutes later, barely 20 minutes early for his confession. He sat down on a bench to catch his breath, he sat there for a good 5 minutes worth of rest before standing up and proceeding to go to the center of the park.
Ashley arrived at the park a minute later than Alex and immediately saw him getting up to go to his meeting place with Audrey. She runs after him trying to close the distance between them.
"Alex! Wait!" Ashley calls out to him as she reaches out with an outstretched hand.
Alex turned and saw Ashley, his expression turning dull and sour upon seeing her.
"What is it now Ashley? If you have something to say to me, better make it quick. I have to do something really important." Alex said in a dismissive tone.
"Alex, hear me out, please. I want to fix everything between us! Please give me a chance!" Ashley pleads with a desperate and longing gaze.
Alex rolled his eye in annoyance, his right eye still covered in the eyepatch. He still holds strong grudges and resentment towards her.
"Thanks for making it short as possible, as for the chances of becoming friends again? I'm not exactly sure if that will happen." Ashley looked frantic as she holds him tight.
"Alex please, don't do this, I'm sorry for not believing in you, I'm sorry for hurting you so much! Please don't hate me! I never wanted this to happen! Please.... don't leave me...." Ashley begged as she collapses on her knees.
Alex scoffed as he pulls his hands away from her. He then said in an irritated voice as he glares at her angrily.
"If I forgive you, will that be enough to make you leave me alone? I have something very important to do." Audrey shook her head, a way of saying "no".
Alex adopted a look of confusion and disbelief. He then asks her again with less aggression.
"Then what do you want, Ashley? I don't have all the time right now so better make it quick." Ashley looked up with tears running down her face.
"I want you Alex. I want you to be mine...." Ashley said in a desperate and heartbroken tone as she begs Alex to be with her.
"What the hell are you trying to say? Can you make it more specific?" Alex said in a slightly angry voice.
"I love you Alex, I love you so much. You mean so much to me and I am so sorry for not being the person you needed the most ever since you got framed. I want to make more than amends Alex, I want you so badly...." Ashley paused as she tries to calm herself down, unaware of Alex staring down at her with a blank and apathetic gaze.
"You mean everything to me and I want to fix all the horrible things I have done to you. Please Alex, give me one last chance! That's all I ask for, please! Don't leave me....I love you..." Ashley's voice becoming weak as she tries to muster the strength to stand up.
"....No...." Alex said in a cold and cruel tone. Ashley widened her eyes as she looks at him with desperation and longing.
"W-what... A-Alex but-" Ashley tries to speak but was immediately cut off from Alex who raised his hand in front of her mouth. He glares at her, making Ashley shrink and frown in defeat.
