Else and Anna could do nothing but stare in wide-eyed surprise. They were both shocked after awakening on the floor of the ballroom. Anna then spoke up after a few moments of awkward silence. "Uh, Elsa? Why are we on the ballroom floor?" Then she let out a squeak of surprise when she noticed her voice sounded younger. The older girl was just as shocked her sister. The two girls then jumped up in alarm and ran down the hallways. After a while of running around like chickens with there heads chopped offf, the girls were stopped in there tracks by a stern and familiar voice.
"Elsa? What are you doing out of your room? Have you got your powers under control yet, already?" The girls paled and were frozen in shock, nervousness and surprise. "Oh! I uh... I just kept prating and I got my powers under control faster then I thought I would." Elsa lied. Anna was shocked and a bit confused. She had never in her life herd her sister stutter or get nervous, at least not when others were around.
There mother just smiled warmly, unaware of her older daughter's mental panic attack. "Come on, Elsa. Let's go tell your father the good news!" There mother said smiling brightly her eldest daughter.
Elsa nodded numbly in response as she spoke up once more. "Ok, I-I guess so, mama." Anna frowned and whispered into her sisters ear. "Elsa? What's wrong? This isn't like you to be a stuttering mess of words." Her sister looked into her eyes, witch were full of fear and confusion. The queen laughed at her daughter's antics, "No need to be so shy, Elsa. It's just your father."
Elsa sighed again and replied in a quiet voice. "But can Anna come too?" The red head sighed again. "Seriously, Els? Calm down, mama's right, let's go show papa!" The now 8-year old queen nodded her head.
The king was surprised when his eldest daughter came into his study along with his wife and younger daughter.
"Pappa, I got my powers under control, so can I play with Anna now?" Elsa asked him with pleading eyes. She and Anna had the appearance of an 8-year-old and a 5-year-old but they had there adult memories as well. But of course they couldn't tell there parents. Before anything else could be said on the matter, Anna pulled Elsa aside to talk to her sister... Who now has a stuttering problem. Anna frowned slightly, she was concerned about her sister. "Come on young queen, what is going on with you, Elsa? Is something wrong?" Her sister looked down at her feet, shoulders shacking. "I-I'm s-sorry Anna..." She stopped and let out a sob, as she cried into her sisters shoulder.
After Elsa calmed down, Anna pulled her sister into her room. "Come on your majesty..." Anna teased and then they both burst out laughing at the younger girl's words. "Why are we younger? And Anna, now mama and papa know that you found out that I have Ice powers." The former queen replied back. Anna just sighed at her sisters stuttering.
"Seriously, Els. Why are you stuttering? I'm kinda surprised that there is no ice covering the room." Elsa pouted in response. "H-hay its not my fault that I stutter when I-I'm nervous." Elsa said with a pout still on her face. After they talked for a while longer, they both ended up falling asleep on the bed, in smaller versions of their daily clothes.
And that's how the queen found them rapped around what looked like Elsa's long... Cape? Made of... Ice? She went closer and touched it softly, causing Elsa and Anna to sit up and Elsa's head butted her mother in her surprise. "Oh! I uh... I'm sorry, mamma. I uh..." Elsa trailed off and stared down at her feet.
"Uh Anna? Why are we wearing our clothes that we were when we are older?" Anna blinked and sighed once again. "I'm not sure, Els." She replied truthfully. Els? Come on, come here you." Anna said as she pulled Elsa into a hug, the older girl relaxed at the touch. Anna held Elsa as the eight year old held back tears. "You know, Els. It's okay to cry you know?" Her sister just buried her head into Anna's shoulder in response.
After a while the 2 girls went downstairs for breakfast, as they entered the dinning hall, there father gave them a stern look. "Anna, Elsa, what have I told you about running? And Elsa, where in the world did you get that dress?" Both girls paled and laughed nervously, "Well papa you see it's a long story involving a mean and stuck up prince, an eternal winter, a frozen..." Elsa covered her sister's mouth with a hand. "Anna! We can't tell them that something bad will happen in the future!" Anna sighed in understanding and said as calmly as she could, "Elsa made it with her ice powers!" Elsa just laughed at her sisters excitement, while her parents just blinked at her.
After breakfast Elsa grinned and practically dragged the 5-year-old girl out of the room laughing. "Elsa!" There father's sharp tone stopped the 8-year-old girl in her tracks, "Yes papa?" Elsa said with a look of childish mischievous shining in her eyes.
"You know better as the oldest you..." Elsa just pouted and said, "I know but papa can we go play now?" Their mother nodded and Elsa ran off dragging Anna once again while laughing. "Anna? Do you wanna build a snowman?" Elsa's mischievous side was in control now.
So the 2 princesses played together for a few hours, and even the King and Queen joined in for a while as well. "This is amazing!" Anna shouted as she and Elsa slid down a snow pile.
