The official book tour for De had embarked, and with only three days left the journey has been a whirlwind for the Booker Brotha. Interacting with fans, the way the support was genuine and came from every single race, was a surprise to him. But he respected every ounce of it. The meet and greets, taking pictures, doing the Q and A's was what he loved, but he was overly ready to get back to his day-to-day in Cali. Although getting home was on the front of his mind, the tour helped him from thinking about what was waiting for him at home.
The past few days he and his team been in New York. That morning he was on The Tamron Hall Show to perform and interview in front of a live audience. A day before the 𝑮𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒔𝒕𝒂 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 Tour started he released the book's full promo song, Show Me, and earned him-self a TikTok hit and Billboard entry—a surprise to him—though with how much anticipation the clips brought it was expected from his team.
"Let's give another hand for that beautiful record, Show Me," the talk-show host applauded with the audience, and De smiling and placing his hand on his chest in appreciation. "What made you actually release the full record? I heard it was like pulling teeth for you to agree."
De laughed lightly with Tamron. "Cause it was," he admits, "Yeah I gotta background in music, can rap and allat, but I like the behind the scenes. But my fans, my team; everybody wanted it. I had to give in."
"And the first week of the tour Men I Trust—the originators of the song for those that don't know—joined you on the performance. This week you have a beautiful young lady that sounds just as incredible—"
"Yea shoutout to Kye," De revealed the name of the singer.
"–What was that process asking them to join?" she finished.
"Pretty easy, man. I had they contact information already for when I sampled their record. I had to get clearance and allat. When I mentioned the tour to 'em, they was on it. They could only do the first week though 'cause they had to get back to Canada. Shoutout to Men I Trust."
