Ashley's POV
I was exhausted. I had spent a lot of time with the Stolls and spent some time with Veronica and Drew. Not that I want to go on the quest. It's nice having them as friends. Especially Drew. When I pull pranks on him, his expressions are hilarious. Veronica is fun also because she doesn't get angry when I prank her.
I was sitting on the dock with them just enjoying the nice summer breeze when they asked me to come on the quest with them." I don't know, guys. I'm not that great at fighting monsters." I protested. They raised their eyebrows. They are so cute together! I finally agreed and started packing a backpack. Ambrosia and nectar, check, one change of clothes, check, and a flashlight, check. I didn't know when we were gonna go, so I packed just in case.
I brought the backpack with me as I stopped at their cabin. I knocked three times and slumped on the wall. They walked out giggling and chatting. I sighed extra loud so they would notice me. "Hi Ashley!! Ready for the quest?" Veronica asked excitedly. "Sure Veronica." I replied. And so we walked to the camp border.
