Sebastian leans against a coffee counter, talking to his friend on his phone. His fingers typing and his foot tapping frantically.
He looks back but the only thing working at this place was a sign that said they were on break.
No one had started their shift for what seemed like hours, and Sebastian didn't want to wait here all day for a latte.

Sebastian hears someone's voice, looking past his phone and glaring at a barista who was just sitting with a customer talking. His friend already had a coffee, so Sebastian crossed his arms and waited a few more seconds.
He sighs, burying his hands in his pockets and strolling up between the two.
"Where are the others"
He asks the barista.

"It's not that hard to say hello"
He hears the customer behind him mutter, running her fingers through her hair.

Rolling his eyes, Sebastian didn't care enough to even look back at her.
"Perhaps for you."

The barista crosses his arms, looking at him bemused.
"I don't know where the others are. I'm on break dude"
He picks at his nails, giving Sebastian his own attitude.

He rolls his eyes and scoffs to himself.
"Why is this place run so poorly... no wonder corporations are beating you"

The barista just groans, standing up and putting on his apron. His friend follows behind him and leans against the bench as he makes a coffee.
"No wonder you don't have any friends"
He mutters to himself.

"Tyler's my friend. Zigmund"
He says his name like it's a pointed insult. One Zig doesn't seem to respond to in the slightest.

Instead he just laughs and slides over a hot take out cup.
"Tyler's the worst, of course he likes you"

"Zig totally spat in that"
His friend giggles, looking back at Sebastian with a large smile plastered on her face. Theres no sign of disagreement or agreement on his olive skinned face, leaving it ambiguous to the both.

Sebastian just glares at him, annoyed at how cheerful she looked talking about it. He hated her pale soft skin and her big blue doe eyes. He hated her twirly renascence dress and pink lips.
"You're in Dusk to Dawn this year, aren't you?"

She only blinks in surprise. Pouting and thinking for a second sighing.
"Yeah? You got a theatre kid radar?

He just smiles and walks past her.
"You're not getting a part." He says, taking a sip of his drink as he leaves the shop. Feeling her annoyed stare on the back of his head.

He stands outside of the university's theatre. Leaning against the locked door patiently as others wait behind him.

One of the younger students look over the Roger's waiting before sighing and sitting beside Sebastian. "How long have you been waiting?"

Sebastian thinks off for a second before shrugging and drinking his coffee.
"An hour. Hour and a half..."
He answers bluntly.

"But... the building opens at 2. You've just been out here in the snow for no reason?"

He rolls his eyes and sighs dramatically to himself.
"It's called making a good impression. Did your father never teach you to impress people?"

"My dad died when I was 6"

"Lucky you..."
He mutters to himself. Not noticing as one of the employees unlocks and opens the door. He walks inside, taking a seat overseeing the stage so he could hear the director.

He looks up at the light stage, his eyes widening when he sees the director. It couldn't be mistaken, it was the woman from the coffee shop he acting like an ass to.
She grabs the mic and runs her fingers through her light blonder hair.
"I'm Steph, and it's fantastic to see all the people who want to be a part of my play. I mean I noticed how a few of you came here so early... why? The building opens at 2, I said that a couple times"

The others in the crowd laugh at her joke but Sebastian hides under his hand. Keeping his eyes down trying not to humiliate himself any further.

Sebastian lays on his friends couch, covering his eyes with his hands while his phone rests on his chest.
"I ruined it..."

Tyler sighs, sitting beside him more distracted by his laptop.
"You didn't do anything, she probably doesn't even remember what happened"
He says while working through his class task, programming a small website by himself.

"She remembers. And she remembers what a jerk I was..."
He groans softly to himself.
"I'm not even going to get a part at this point..."

His friend just sighs. Rolling his eyes and clacking away on his keyboard.
"It's time. Check the cast-list and you'll have all your answers"

Sebastian scrambles to sit up, looking through his phone at the website before slowly down when he reaches the cast-list. His eyes slow down for a second as he reads, only for him to drop his phone and lay back down defeated.
"I got the antagonist..."

"Isn't that good? Better than no role?"
Tyler chuckles nervously, petting his friend's head to calm him down as he wallows in self pity.

"She sees me as a villain. How is that any good?"
He sighs defeatedly and crosses his arms.
"I wanted to be the love interest. A man who does good for others, but all she sees me as is someone who ruins things"

"Then talk to her about this stuff, Steph sounds reasonable!"
Tyler picks up Sebastian's phone, looking through the website curiously.

He looks at the email address Tyler pulled up. Crossing his arms and smirking to himself
"I'll talk to her... sounds productive"

His friend looks back at him with an  off put grimace. Sighing and shaking his head.
"No wonder you got cast as a villain. You look like you're going to threaten her"
