It was another day at the freak show the 3rd of September to be exact, it's close to the end of summer and the beginning of my favorite time autumn.

I live at the freak show because of my mother, she runs the show, but she hasn't put me in the show since it debuted, I have a condition called Heterochromia and Polycoria many people were fascinated by them.

It was morning and I was currently with mother listening to her chew out Penny when she was talking about being drugged and ravaged by the other freaks, in all honesty I was disgusted by this and is one of the reasons mother never wants me to interact with the male freaks even though I am one.

Elsa put on the film of Penny and the others and I turned away being uncomfortable with situation as well as the argument between mother and Penny.

All of a sudden Pepper comes in the tent with Ma Petit putting her on the table

"Ms. Elsa, Ms.Elsa a chauffeur in a big car came and bought out the whole show tonight." Ma Petit told Elsa, mother clapped in delight that we have a full show now.

Mother carried Ma Petit in her arms going to her own tent after telling Penny some words that I tuned out, I looked up to see if mother left and I got up turning off the film she put on when she left for Penny to watch and I went towards Penny to hug her.

"I'm so sorry you had to endure that Penny" I said to her and starting to cry with her. She started to sob uncontrollably in my arms saying stuff that was inaudible due to the crying. After some time she stopped crying so I let her go, she then went on her own way to most likely go back home to her very strict and traditional father...

Today mother brought these two girls in their names are Bette and Dot they are conjoined twins their act name was the "Siamese sisters" mother added them to the show and she finally decided to add me to show in an act of despair because the freak show wasn't doing well anymore, with a new performance act came a new name so Elsa branded me as the "The Calico".

It was now noon. I was with Jimmy, Eve, and Paul outside putting up the new banners and me and the twins, Eve was putting up the twins banner while Jimmy was telling her the right position for it.

"Are you excited to be in show finally" asked Paul.

"Yes, it's been how many years has it been since mother started the show and now it's 1952 and I'm in the show at 23" I told Paul it's a small laugh. All of a sudden a car full of guys comes bolting towards us and they threw glass bottles at Paul and Jimmy's feet calling the lot of us freaks.

Jimmy started to run towards them yelling
"ASSHOLES, COME SAY IT TO MY FACE!" He yelled, Paul quickly grabbed him while Eve quickly got off the ladder and also went to hold back Jimmy, I stood there looking at the car drive off like nothing happened and their laughs echoed in my ears after that we left to go back to the tents to eat lunch.

The Tattler sisters walked in the area where we cook and have our meals, I was already sitting eating my food then all I heard was a crunch I looked up and Meep bit off another chicken head, Dot looked at Meep in disgust while Bette looked a little scared.

"Hey don't be scared, Meep just got a little excited, it's not every day he comes across two beauties in one body" Jimmy came jogging towards the twins and winked at them, I rolled my eyes seeing Jimmy flirt but it made the girls somewhat happy.

As it start to get darker outside people are getting ready for the show preparing the main tent I was in my own tent looking through old photos from 1940.

*Flashback*

I was a sweet innocent kid my whole childhood; I was nice, I never complained, I did what I was told to do, I kept to myself when bad things happened, I never talked back and yet my own family didn't want me anymore especially when my brother was born.
