Hayley's POV:
Freya had Elijah in a sleep spell so she can enter her mind and try to figure out how his memory was wiped and how to reverse the damage done. She's been at it for hours trying different methods and spells to come up with a solution but isn't having any luck.
I'm pacing back and forth in the hallway while Freya is in Elijah's room with him.
Every time she comes out the door she just shakes her head at me and then moves onto the next spell, heading to the kitchen to grab ingredients and then going inside Elijah's room and closing the door behind her.
The waiting is killing me.
I get the feeling that someone's come up behind me.
"I'm trying to be patient I really am." I say with a sigh and turn around
Klaus stands there.
"Anything?" He asks
I shake my head.
"She's been at it for hours. She's bound to find something." I say trying to be a little hopeful
Klaus informs me that Hope is with Lorelei and I quickly run through a couple of spells that Freya had tried and struck out on.
"Perhaps it's time we switch tactics."
Before I can stop him he barges into Elijah's room. We've been waiting to share one until we fixed it up a bit. None of us are leaving this city any time soon. May as we'll stick together.
Especially since we might all be targets.
Again.
"You can't just barge in here!" Freya says to him her voice full of annoyance
"Last I checked sister this is my house." Klaus replies gesturing
"I have a spell in progress and if you disrupt it you could harm him. So either help or get out." She says firmly her eyes locked on his
"Maybe your methods are flawed." Klaus says
Ugh.
I stare at my boyfriends unconscious body on the bed and then look away. I wish I knew how to help him the same way he's done for me countless times but instead I just feel...
I'm not sure.
Angry that I couldn't help him while he was being abducted only a street away...
"What can we do?" I ask trying to cut their bickering down and clear my head
"What about a head dive? Oldest vampire trick in the book." Klaus suggests
Freya closes her eyes and concentrates.
I stare at Elijah as his eyes suddenly open.
"Elijah! He's awake!" I say and move towards him
Klaus joins me by Elijah's bedside as he focuses on the figures standing over his bed.
"Nikklaus?" He asks groggily
