This story I wrote for a random assignment for English. Were reading The Great Gatsby! And my teacher gave us some pictures of the story and told us to make our own short story!
And I wrote it, and my teacher said it was an amazing story and I formated it right.
So naturally I was proud
The actual story:
Coming home to my mansion in New York, I found out my wife Willow had thrown a party, selling alcohol. I never fancied parties. Never my forte, but I never once had a problem with my lovely wife throwing parties, but this one was different.
My business partners were here, people I knew were here, people I knew fancied my wife. And I didn't quite like that. These men ranged from high businessmen to police officers down the road.
I made my way up to Willows and I shared a bedroom to see her with one of the police officers, Caleb.
I yell, 'What are you doing' Both Willow and Caleb frezee.
Caleb threatened me, to keep this between us, and he would never come back. But why shouldn't I tell his wife? I yell at him, losing my temper.
Caleb apparently did not like this and pulled his gun on me. Aiming for my head.
Willow is screaming.
"I told you, Terry! Keep this between us! If my misses finds out I'll end your entire career!"
I yell back angrily as I storm off the stairs. The sound of a gun shooting rings in my ears as I feel everything go black.
The last thing I hear is my once lovely wife screaming.
