~Story~

*Embers P.O.V*

"Where the fuck is she?" I roared slamming my fist onto my wooden desk. I glare at the three males in front of me. I had ordered them to do one thing and they couldn't even accomplish it.

"We're sorry Alpha. We couldn't trace her scent anywhere, it's like she just disappeared," Gary says and bows his head in fear. I let out a humorless laugh, making them all flinch.

"Disappeared? If you don't find my mate in the next hour, I will make sure you regret it. Do I make myself clear," I ask and they nod their head in union. I glare at them before dismissing them with a flick of my wrist.

"Yes Alpha, we will find our Luna," They say before closing the door and leaving me to my work. Why do I have such a beautiful mate but hard headed all the same. I shut my eyes and squeeze the bridge of my nose.

I look at the paperwork before me and sign them, clarifying that I now own over 250 more acres of land. I'm about to flip the page when there is a loud tap on my office door. I growl and stand up. I open the door stiffly and gesture for my Beta to enter.

"Alpha, I'm sorry for disturbing you but there has been a incident," I automatically tense and sit on the front of my desk.

"What happened Dom?" I ask fearing for my little mate's life. There has been to many she-wolves missing around my area but I didn't want to tell Rosie, I feared it would stress her even more then she is. It hurts my wolf and I seeing her distressed.

"The girl has gone missing from her room. We have no leads either at the moment," I widen my eyes before letting out a menacing growl. Can't this day get any worse? Fuck.

"What the fuck do you mean? I had specifically ordered five men to guard her door. What the hell happened?" I boom and start pacing. So my mate and the girl is missing. Not good at all. I swear if someone touches my little mate, I will end their life without a second thought.

'I agree,' Rider my wolf growls impatiently.

*Rosie's P.O.V*

"It all happened suddenly and It surely wasn't expected. My mom was in the nursery with my baby brother and my father was out patrolling with his Beta, Marcus. I was in my usual spot outside under the oak tree reading. I always came to that very spot to think or read," Renay starts quietly. I take her hand in mine and nod my head to encourage her to continue.

"It was a very cold day, so I had wore a heavy brown jacket. Little did I know that it helped camouflaged me, so they didn't see me against the tree. So I guess I was lucky for a second," She whispered and tears dropped down to her cheek.

"I heard the screams before I seen the rouges. They we're in the advantage because there was hundreds of them. My pack only contained at least 60 people and half hadn't even changed yet, including myself and my baby brother. We didn't stand a chance and we knew it. I had climbed the oak because my mom came out with my baby brother in her arms begging me to climb... to protect myself," I let out a sob for her family and she continued on also sobbing.

"She was going to hand me bubby and hide with me but before she made it off the back porch, two rouges appeared and trapped her in a circle. They we're snapping at her and before she could shift they lunged. I had covered my mouth to suppress my screams. I knew there wasn't anything I could do. I was lucky they couldn't smell or hear me. Or so I thought."

"I was up in that tree for at least four hours. After five hours.. everything was silent. No fighting, no whimpers, no hope. I got down from my hiding position and fled. I was about to reach the end of our pack borders when they caught me. It was all a trap, they knew where I was the whole time but they just wanted to play me. They never explained why but I knew it was because I was now their hostage, their toy."

"It was horrible Rosie. They tortured me and the other women. They raped some but it was only to show us that they could do anything to us and would get by with it. I was one of the few that didn't get raped... I was beginning to lose the little hope I had but then Delilah came. She was a feisty one I tell yeah. She fought every second and they had knocked her out when she kept on refusing to surrender," She said with so much venom that I couldn't help but smile a little. My Delilah would never go down with out a fight, so I knew that everything Renay was telling me was true. Delilah was alive.

"I had stuck by her side waiting for her to wake up and when she did, she smiled. She got up and grabbed my hand. She had told me that while she was fighting them, she had grabbed the keys from one of the men. The keys could unlock the prison doors and we knew they never guarded the outside because they thought we would never dare try to escape. But boy was they wrong." She smiled a evil grin and I couldn't help but flinch.

"So, that night she helped me escape and four others," I gave her a confused look and she frowned slightly.

"I was the only one to make it sadly. Two rouge males trailed us to your border for three days, when at the last minuet, they jumped us. I was the only survivor and your Beta saved me," She whispered and I took her frail body in my arms and held her while she cried. I will get those damn rouges and I wont go easy either.
