After a long grasp of sleep in that dark room, a cold palm stroke her forehead making her sober up from the sleep.
"How are you feeling now sister?"
"Bit fine...is the school over brother?"
"Not yet, it's second interval."
"Are you taking meal properly?"
"Not having appetite these days brother...."
"Still then you need to take care of your health sister."
"Thank you for visiting brother, I will adjust it la as you might be busy with studies, just feel free."
"No..no.. that's fine I can adjust too."
He took her hands on his palm and started rubbing it which is somehow giving warmth to the senseless fingers.
After a while, the warm palm once again stroke her hair making her go into sleep.
"Hey, how are you feeling?"
As she gradually opened her eyes, Aric was standing right Infront of her.
"Bit well.."
"Is the school over?"
"It's last period."
"Then why are you here?"
"The class is empty so."
"Had lunch?"
Everyone visiting her is throwing the same question then.
"Anna, here we got you something to have."
Thinley, Pema and Assis emerged from the door and landed the snacks on the bed.
"You guys need not have to trouble yourself with all these things am not feeling like to take anything."
"Just keep quiet and eat this for now."
Thinley put the fast food on her lab and together all giggled out.
"Hope on, I will carry you." Aric was bending down on the steps in the dark night.
"No..no .I will manage." Her two friends helped Anna in climbing up the steps and was landing for a while when matron (one who looks after the girls in hostel) came to check on her.
"How are you feeling Anna?"
"Bit well madam. Just that my legs and hands are feeling numb and senseless and burns at times along with the chest."
"Our Vice Principal Sir is going to the hospital. So, girls help her to get ready and come down in a while."
The girls hurriedly got her changed and carried till the car stop infront of the hostel.
"We will keep her in observation tonight and tomorrow the doctor will see on it."
"Anna, I called your parents and I think they will arrive in a while. So, we will leave now and do take care okay."
"Thank you Sir."
"It's alright..you take care of yourself."
"Sonam, will you please tell my brother to study well as exam is approaching near and not to worry about me as I will be fine in few days."
"Sure, will do that but you must take meals on time and take care of your health okay."
"Hmm...okay..."
"Anna what happened?" Sister Sarah and her dad along with some of the Church members had came for the visit.
"Hey, am good.. don't strain yourself more..they kept me for observation when doctor will come tomorrow."
"What actually happened to you. You need to inform earlier if you were sick. When your Principal called and said you were admitted out of the blue, we were really scared especially mom."
"All will be good.. don't worry. I thought calling at home would be quite stressing so didn't do it. Ahh...it indeed feels great seeing my sister after a long time back."
"Stop your stupid jokes."
Whole night they shared many things together and didn't even knew when sleep has crawled upon them.
"You do the X-ray and visit me down in the chamber." Went after a basic checkup.
"Greeting sister..what happened?"
"Greeting brother, came for chest X-ray."
"Please have a seat. How is your parents?"
"They are good brother. Your's."
"Same here."
"In which grade are you studying?"
"XI brother."
"Stream."
"Science."
"Pure?"
"Bio Science, couldn't take mathematics."
"You can get changed here and pressed yourself to the radiograph machine out here, I will come in a while."
She followed the procedure and took the report to the Doctor in charge after almost 10-15 minute of scanning which brings a chill sensation as the chest touched the machine.
"Is everything alright doctor?"
"Hmm....I could see some bulging effect in the upper area of the left lung which would have affected your heart slightly too. Here, I would recommend you to visit Thimphu hospital indeed."
"I hope it isn't severe doctor."
"I couldn't say really..so, you can visit higher hospital once and I think it will be better if you do it sooner as I will write the report here."
"Thank you doctor."
"Welcome."
