20 𓇬 The Second Command Seal

"A proposal?"

And with that, my stomach began doing flips as it was ambushed by what seemed like bloodthirsty butterflies.

He was silent the entire way back to his office but i was too busy being angry at Gilgamesh to even consider what my father was going to say.

"Yes.."

I wanted to continue on with some stupid excuse, but it's so hard to lie while he's just staring at me like that.

But, i force myself to continue, "He proposed that i join the holy grail war this year, but as i told him-"

"Y/N.. Whatever it was, i suggest you not think about it any further. We've already discussed that you're heading home, and that'll be the end of it"

I felt like i was going to be sick.

My eyes even began to sting as if i was going to cry.. why would i cry over something like this?

I just want this to be over.

And so i say, "Yes, father" and quickly see myself out of his office.

Immediately stopping to lean on the door on the other side.

Just giving myself a chance to breathe, something i apparently forgot to do while speaking with my father.

I just needed a second to catch my breath, but then i overheard my father speak up again.

"Gilgamesh, i ask that you don't interact with my daughter anymore, she will be leaving soon to stay with her mother"

Gilgamesh was in there?

Why am i surprised.. of course he was.

"I've taken an interest in her is all, it doesn't concern you Tokiomi"

Oh god...

"Gilgamesh. She is my daughter, i'm asking you politely to leave her be. Please, don't force my hand"

"I will do as i please, Tokiomi!"

"..Gilgamesh, i command you to leave my daughter, Y/N Tohsaka, alone"

He used a command seal.?

I heard a creak in the floorboards, and it pulled me from my own thoughts.

I need to go..

I stood up wiping at my eyes, and headed back to my room.

I hadn't started crying yet but i was scared i was getting too close.

It was weird going back to my room and having him not be there.

While i would always complain about it, i'd have gone stir crazy by now if i only had my father to talk to.

I went and sat on my bed, letting out a sigh as i ran my hands across the soft fabric.

Maybe, the command seal was too vague.

It's Gilgamesh, i'm sure he'll find some ridiculous loophole and he'll be back to annoying me in no time.

I'm sure of it.
