With a soft sigh you push open your front door, you struggle at first, but soon manage to wiggle your way in and the amble to your kitchen counter. You place your groceries on the counter, huffing when they fall over. You take a moment to survey your surroundings, your new house is quite different than your old one.
A lot less modern and a lot more cozy, it's actually quite comfortable. This was probably the best decision of your life, a new house, a new life, new neighbors and you're far away from your creepy ex-boyfriend. It wasn't too bad in this new place, although you couldn't remember the name of this town you were in, but it's certainly nice.
You hum quietly as you begin to put away your groceries, you start with the cold foods. You place them in the refrigerator, because where else would you put them and then the frozen food goes in the freezer. And soon all that's left is the canned goods, those go in the pantry. Now that you had one chore out of the way, you check your to-do list for your next task.

You felt mildly frustrated that some of your to-do list was written in a red ink, whereas a majority of your list was written in black ink. 'Who keeps
messing with my list? It's kind of annoying..' You thought, a terse expression on your face.
You roll your eyes then fold up your list and put it in your pocket, you'll worry about this mysterious editor later. Despite your frustration, you decided upon going forward with your to-do list. But you didn't want to wash your dishes right now, however you couldn't find it in yourself to forsake routine and so you get to work.
You turn to your sink, your expression falling as you take notice of the large amount of dirty dishes that have built up over the week. 'Oh, boy, when did I have that many meals?!' You feel your motivation waver, how could you ever face such a daunting task alone?

A/N (author's note); okay, so this is just the first chapter and it is subject to change. Any and all critiques are appreciated! Personally, I think I should add more dialog and less descriptions.
