Christmas Day
Scarlett’s POV
We went to the doctors office a few days ago to get some blood work done to see if I’m pregnant yet. I told Dr. Montgomery to give us a call as soon as she had the results. “What’s going on up there Baby?” Louri asks as we lay in bed waiting till eight which is the time we told the kids they could get up at no earlier. “I’m nervous, what if I’m not pregnant yet? What if I am getting too old?” I ramble. “Honey you are thirty six you aren’t too old.” Louri says and her phone starts ringing. She doesn’t even bother to see who’s calling since it’s her work phone. “This better be really fucking important.” She says slightly agitated. “Oh yeah I’ll put you on speaker.” She says and puts her on speaker.
“First off Merry Christmas and second. Congratulations the IVF worked you are pregnant.” Dr. Montgomery’s voice says through the phone.
“WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Oh yeah we are having another baby hell yes whoooooooooooo!!” Louri cheers jumping out of bed and doing a ridiculous dance.
“Let me guess Louri is dancing?” Dr. Montgomery says with a laugh.
“Fuck yeah I am!” Louri says.
“Merry Christmas you two. I’ve got to go my kids should be up anyminute I thought it would be nice to tell you today as my gift to you instead of waiting till tomorrow.” Dr Montgomery says.
“Thank you so much and Merry Christmas to you as well.” I say before hanging up. “Louri what are you doing?” I ask as she is tossing things out of her t-shirt drawer looking for something. “Ah ha found it.” She says, handing me a shirt that says ‘Bun in the oven’ “Oh I love it, I'm wearing it today.” I say taking off the USMC shirt I took from Louri like I usually do. “Fits perfectly and it’s eight, time to wake everyone.” I say. “Ooo let me, I have an idea.” She says and before I can say anything she runs out of the room leaving the door open. “MY WIFE IS PREGNANT!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE SCARLETT’S PREGNANT!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!” She screams as she runs around the house. “MOMMY’S PREGNANT!!! YAY!!!!” Devon cheers and comes running into our room and jumps on the bed and tackles me in a hug. “Is it a brother?” He asks. “It’s too soon to know Angel.” I tell him. “ MORE GRANDBABIES!!!!!” I hear Mom and Lisa cheer at the same time oh lord they aren’t going to leave me alone are they?

Louri’s POV
We are at Scarlett’s first appointment is today so I will  be here for the first one. I ship out tomorrow. But at least I’ll have a copy of the first ultrasound. “Ok you see that little peanut-like shape right there?” Dr. Montgomery asks. “Yeah, is that them?” I ask. “Yes it is. You are about a month along Scarlett. How many printouts would you like?” She asks. “Three I want a backup in case something happens to the first one while I’m overseas.” I tell her. “Oh I didn’t know you were being deployed again. In that case I’ll print out four just to be safe.” She says. “Thank you Dr. Montgomery.” Scarlett says, wiping the gel off her stomach and Dr. Montgomery hands me the printouts. “Now Scarlett since Louri being deployed when you were pregnant with Devon added extra stress to your body I want to see you once a month ok.” She tells Scarlett. “Ok, is the fifthteenth of next month good for you?” Scarlett asks. “Yes, that works for me. I'll get you on the calendar.” She tells Scarlett. We went out the back exit and to my new truck Scarlett got me for Christmas. “Here you go my dear.” I say helping her into the truck getting a kiss as a thank you and I walk over and get in the drivers side. I love this truck. I never got around to getting a new one after the crash and that was before the twins. It’s got a special decal on the hood, it's the Marine emblem with the words ‘Proud Marine 'above it. And she got a special decal on the back of her escalade that matches the decal on the hood of my truck but with the words ‘Proud Marine Wife’ but hers isn’t as big as the decal on my hood which takes up the whole hood and I love it. “I’m not ready for you to go.” Scarlett says as we are driving home and I pull over so I can focus my attention on her. “Honey, I know it’s hard when I leave. I don't know what it’s like on your end but it kills me to leave you guys for long periods of time. But I always come home. And you know I can’t promise you one hundred percent that I will come home but I can promise you that I will do everything in my power to come home and that is a promise I will never break.” I tell her. “I know you will. I’m still going to miss you. We all are.” She says. “I know and I will call as much I can, I promise.” I tell her. “You better. I think this is the last time we will be alone before you leave. We should make the most of it.” She says unbuckling her seatbelt. “Get in the back seat. I want you to make love to me Marine” She says and I waste no time getting in the back seat and strip off my jeans and flannel. She strips her clothes off before climbing into the back seat. And straddles my lap I interlock our legs and we both start to rock our hips rubbing our clits together. “Oh fuck Scarlett!” I moan. “Fuck Louri! Come here.” She says pulling my tags a little telling me to sit up and I do and connect our lips as we continue to rock our hips. The kiss isn’t heated or hungry but full of emotion. “Louri!” “Scarlett!” We moan loudly as we both cum and I lay down with Scarlett on my chest as we catch our breath. “I love you.” I say tracing imaginary shapes on her back. “I love you too.” She says connecting our lips again.
