Chapter 1: Spirit's story. (Deadevil!Wukong.)

He woke up in bed, gasping. He looked at his surroundings. Same place he always was in. Same place he'll never leave. He realized his legs couldn't move. He had a dull expression, as always. Seemingly unfazed by the events that took place. Speaking of those events; he had just remembered, Macaque had gotten in a mood again last night. He looked at himself, and saw he...didn't really have any clothes on. Not his first time. Won't be his last. He painfully turned over, just barely, and saw him still sleeping beside him. Did he do it again? He did what Phoenix told him last time.

To tell him no whenever he wants to do it with me again. Guess he just didn't care if he said no. Well, in his defense, He gave up as soon as he shut my mouth like he said. He sighed, and stared up at the ceiling, head empty and devoid of any thoughts. Just the same question over and over. Why?

A few hours passed, and by now Macaque was still asleep, still drooling. Seems like he enjoyed that night. By now it was 9 AM. The time he woke up was 5 AM, which makes sense. His legs were somewhat okay now, and he felt better enough to get up and fix himself, and make him and Macaque some breakfast. He got out of bed with wobbly legs, and entered the bathroom. He looked in the mirror, seeing his red eyes and golden pupils, his broken circlet that he can't get off, and the bite marks all over his fluffy hairy monkey body. His tail swished ever so slightly, and his blue-ish body color kind of made his fluffy body look a little brown-ish. He tilted his head a little in the mirror, as he moved some of his hair back, while his ear twitched. He looked at himself in the broken-ish mirror, and mumbled something about being broken or something like that.

He smiled to show his teeth and his sharp canines, and he stopped smiling. Smiling never looked good on him, in his opinion. Not like he had a reason to smile. He didn't feel anything. He didn't feel emotions. He stared blankly ahead, and just started brushing his teeth, as he tried to stop wincing at the pain he was feeling from moving his arm. Seems his arms were a bit sore from last night. He kept brushing until he got a phone call on his Universal cell phone. He answered it. "Hello?" He asked. "Hey Spirit! You doin' okay?" Asked the voice from the phone. "I'm fine, Royal. Just getting up. Isn't it night for you in your universe?" He asked. "Ah, yeah I'm getting ready for bed at the moment— Just gotta get Macaque– or uh, Ray, to stop nagging me about all this random shit.." Royal said, sighing. "Sorry you have to deal with that." Spirit responded. "Having to deal with a husband and a whole country must be hard." Spirit added as he kept brushing his teeth. "Yep. You know it.." Royal chuckled nervously. "Well did you call me for something?" Spirit asked. "Ah! Right!- I wanted to ask about the library in the Hub. Do you know if there's a book on universe maintenance? I know someone has a book on AU History.." Spirit had finished brushing his teeth by now, and was now just grooming himself up. Brushing his hair & tail, getting clothes, etc. "Ah, that book was returned by Vision. The wukong with eyes on his hands." Spirit said. "He's quite odd, but I suppose I like them that way." He put on some pants, and tried looking for his scarf as he use his abilities to have the phone float next to him, the phone being held by black and blue fire. "It is? Oh good! I can go get it tomorrow then!" Royal exclaimed, very happy he could get the book he originally wanted. "It should be back in the 'H' section. With all the other history books." He added. "Thanks spirit! Oh- shoot- Macaque!" Royal was heard laughing on the other side of the phone.

Spirit just stared at it blankly as he put on some lotion. "..Royal? Are you okay?" Spirit asked. "Haha! I'm fine- Macaque just started kissing me on my neck and it kind of tickled." Royal chuckled. "I should probably go though. Be safe and be careful today, okay??" Spirit nods as if Royal could see him through the phone. "I will. See you maybe later." Spirit said, before hanging up.

He never wanted to admit it, and he never would, but if he felt things he'd definitely feel jealous of Royal and his Macaque. Ever since he found out about the universes and different versions of him, it's been really conflicting for Spirit to be around the other wukong's. Spirit isn't his actual name, however, as his name is Sun Wukong as well. His name only changed when talking to the other versions so that everyone isn't calling eachother 'wukong' or 'macaque'. He knows what he is, and he knows it's all he will ever be. That's what his macaque reminds him of every day. He is broken. He is incomplete. For now, at least.

Ever since he died in some sort of big fight, his macaque had been going insane trying to get him back. They were happy before the death happened. Friendships were mended, mistakes were forgiven. And there was a common goal they had, to defeat the Lady Bone Demon. She's gone now of course, but not with a price. Wukong's life and immortality.

With his life taken, Macaque fell into a heartbroken grief, as he had left him again. But found an artifact in the celestial realm that would bring him back. Of course as you've guessed, he found this artifact, and sort of brought Wukong back to life. Only issue is Wukong's student & successor, MK, had tried to stop macaque from "toying with life" and bringing his mentor back. MK broke the artifact mid-revival, and it broke Wukong's soul, leaving him to be the walking memory scar we see today. His eyes are red to symbolize the time he was trapped in a furnace way back when, the circlet represents his time in Journey to the West, and his blue color represents his possession. The skinned scars are most likely battle scars. But most of them came from Macaque. When he was revived and the artifact was broken, the pieces of the artifact were broken into many pieces that were split across china. Since then, Macaque's everlasting goal was to get the pieces so he could bring Wukong back for good.

But things have been happening since then, and soon wukong and macaque both found out about Alternate universes, with versions of themselves living completely different lives. They even found out they were a timeline of another world who goes through something similar. But, since they adapted to the universe mayhem, things have been different for him.

Spirit went downstairs for some tea, and made breakfast as normal.

Guess we'll see how this goes....
