Episode 3

I was awakened with someone knocking on my door

"GO AWAY" I yelled putting the blanket over my head I heard the door open and my bed sink in I lifted the cover from my face seeing Ami sitting on the corner of my bed

"Come on Ana we've got a early start" Ami said pulling the blanket off of me completely

"No" I said rolling over

"Sadiq will kill you if we're late" I signed finally getting up I saw a smile sneak up on his face "I'll be downstairs find me when your done don't be long"

After I showered and got ready for the day I rushed downstairs seeing everyone gathered around talking

"Took you long enough" Sadiq said I rolled my eyes

"What's this about" I said stepping off the elevator

"Right you've got two groups to choose from cat, reese, holly, Jordon are going to the institution for science the rest of us are going to the market to trade" wasn't a hard option I actually hated the market before the parents disappeared I'm going to hate it even more when it's run over by kids

"Let's go cat" everyone joining cats group cheered and Reese came over to hug me

Everyone begin to get there stuff ready to leave while Ami came up to me

"I'd really rather you came along with me that way I can keep an eye on you" Ami said passing me my bag

"I don't need a babysitter plus I said I'd look after Reese" Ami stood in front of me figuring out what to say next

"Yea well then why don't I join you" he said interlocking our arms walking us to the front door I dragged my feet stopping him

"Yea right Sadiq would have a fit it'll be fine Ami I'll see you soon" I gave him a quick hug before walking out the door and joining my group

We finally reached the institution of science which was a big old fashion looking building kinda like Hogwarts only smaller

"The university looks like a dumb place to look for food to me" holly said i nodded my head in agreement

"No they'll be mountains of fresh food in the fridge here cause people can only get in with a key card" Cat said holding up her key card

"So it shouldn't be raided yet good thinking" I said agreeing with cat now

The door finally opened and we all ran inside Jordon and holly were making their way upstairs before cat stopped us

"Um before we get laid in with food me and Reese just want to get a quick look into my dad office" cat said

"Why" holly said sounding suspicious

"Well we think the sparticle project may have something to do with why everyone's disappeared" cat said

Cat asked Reese to tell holly and Jordon what she saw that day in the library reassuring her that it was okay when Reese spoke up stating the grow ups weren't dead and explained everything from that day holly looked at her as if she was crazy and Jordon didn't believe her holly walked up the stairs alone

"Jordon wait here for me won't you I'm going to get reese" Jordon nodded staying with cat at the bottom of the stairs
I found Reese at the end of the hall with her head on her knee as she sat on the floor upstairs

"Reese not everyone believes in Santa either do they" I said sitting down next to her

"Yea but some people still do and no one believes me at all" Reese said picking up her head up

"I do Reese you've got one person on your side soon you'll have everyone on your side as well" Reese smiled "alright cmon cat waiting for you" i stood up helping Reese stand up before walking her back to cat who was standing talking to Jordon in the same place

"Sorry for running off cat" Reese said apologizing

"No worries Reese" cat said

"Ready jordon" I said gesturing for us to go upstairs

"Um actually i think i would be better if we tagged along with cat" Jordon said

"But holly upstairs all alone I should find her" I said making my way on the first step before Jordon got in front of me

"Actually Ami gave me strict instructions to look after you I can't let you go alone so your stuck with us" Jordon said

"Well tell ami I don't need a babysitter"

I pushed past him marching upstairs to see it completely empty with no sign of holly I followed the signs which led me to the cafeteria empty she should've been here but she wasn't and none of the food had been touched I heard Jordon footsteps walk into the cafeteria

"She's not here" me and Jordon begin shouting for her yelling her name before we finally decided to go back downstairs and look for Reese and cat assuming she must've met up with them

We found cat dad office bursting in "have you see holly" me and Jordon said at the same time Reese and cat looked at each other before looking back at us "no"

We all ran through the corridor shouting for holly and looking around we entered a small office that said human science

"It's boiling in here" Jordon said

"What's that" Reese said looking straight ahead at the corner we all looked at the corner confused

"There nothing there Reese" I said seeing a normal dark corner

"The pink light over there" Reese said Jordon got to where she was standing "what pink light" Jordon asked confused as Reese walked closer cat asked her what was the matter just then the light turned on

"An adult" Jordon shouted I looked over to see a lady standing there now

"We're not alone after all" I said excited

"I'm the one on my own but not any longer" she turned her computer around to reveal holly on the screen tied up to a chair she was talking with cat and I zoned out the conversation until the women was calling me

"What are you deaf here take this" I grabbed the paper she was handing me and gave it to cat

"You've got two hours to get me all of this" cat read from the list realizing it was all medical supplies

"If you needed help why not just ask" Jordon said hm idk Jordon maybe because she's stupid

"Because the world is now invested with children and children are selfish" the women said snarling "if your not back by the timer I'll press the button"
