A devastating shock wave from her knuckles was released in a forward direction, causing severe internal injuries to Vergo. The shock wave also managed to damage the wall behind Vergo. The damage was similar to Law's countershock, the technique she used was a special move that can only be used once you master Rokushiki at a certain level. Y/n heavily panted and looked at Vergo who was still standing.

"You're stronger than we anticipated but that's not enough to bring me down." Vergo says as he grabs her face and slams her onto the ground.

"Y/n-ya!" Law calls out as he sees Vergo strangling his crewmember and tries to stand up from his place.

"I'm in the middle of something. Does it have to be now? Vice Admiral Smoker. I was going to silence you anyway, though." Vergo says as he lets go of Y/n who has already passed out from exhaustion and from his strangling.

"You better make your move. It's not so pleasant to watch a scumbag like you! The pirate- Vergo!" Smoker replies with venom in his tone. Smoker looked around the room and was disturbed by the machines and fluids inside it yet Vergo told him to mind his own business.

"I don't want the soldiers to know the truth about you. They admire you like a father. It's a serious breach of trust. I can't believe you're Joker's dog." Smoker says yet Vergo reveals that he had encountered the Navy. Driven by anger, Smoker attacked him with his jitter but was blocked by Vergo's bamboo.

Their battle continued and with the damage that Y/n and Law dealt, Smoker gained a chance to stand against him. It was evident that Vergo's armament haki was much stronger than Smoker's. With Vergo's stamina and durability, even Smoker is beginning to feel worn out from the fight.

Law watches their fight and glances at Y/n who is still unconscious on the ground. Using his ability, he managed to place Y/n beside him to keep her out of the fight between the two men. Vergo was still stronger than Smoker despite his injuries, proving his ability as Joker's closest subordinate. Vergo managed to deal and powerful blow to Smoker's face and flew him across the room.

"You keep on fighting because you're angry at me for betraying the Navy?" Vergo asked.

"I just want to settle the matter! I have to finish you off with my own hands! Pirate Vergo!" Smoker replied as he stood up. Vergo pointed out how his haki isn't good enough to beat him even comparing that Y/n's were much stronger than Smoker's haki.

They continued to fight again but this time they did it up in the air until one was kicked down the ground again. Using their fists they exchanged blows, both landing a hit on each other. When Smoker thought he finally gained the upper hand, he punched him in the face but it didn't do much damage since Vergo used armament haki before he punched him. With multiple punches and a kick, Smoker was sent back across the room in defeat.

"No matter how deeply you believe in justice, you can't do anything if you're weak!" Vergo stated and at that time, Y/n opened her eyes and found Law standing right in front of her confronting Vergo in a terrible state.

"If I can take my heart back, I can kick your ass easily, Vergo!" Law shouted.

"Don't make me repeat myself, squirt! It's Vergo-san to you!" Vergo says as he squeezes his heart once again. Enraged to see her captain get abused in front of her, she picked up her sword and silently appeared right behind Vergo who managed to block her with his hand and haki.

"Now I get why they call you "Silencer", you kill your opponents silently. You would've injured me if only you knew how to hide your bloodlust. You still have a lot to learn, girl!" Vergo says as he tries to punch her but she easily dodges every hit.

"You seem to master all the Rokushiki techniques, which confirms one of our information about you. So you really were a cipher pol agent and with your caliber, you could've been part of CP0. But working under Joker can get you even farther than that." Vergo commented.
