CHAPTER 15

TIA 

He's been on the phone for the last hour making calls, I'm not sure to who but he had that serious look on his face .  I couldn't keep hiding , yes I was still scared, staying away from him didn't do anything ,the only place I would be safe was with him.  I called my mom to let her know that I planned to return back with him. 

From her tone alone I could tell that she was relieved. I texted Mel and Tatiana that I was okay. I was sitting on the couch when he came over to me and wrapped his arms around me , his face in the crook of my neck , planting soft kisses along my shoulder.“ We'll be returning later today, we're both staying at my parents house. Your mom already spoke to mine” , “ Okay ”. 

He looked at me “ Do you want to go back to work love ”?. “ I do but I'm not sure . You know Alyssa has something to do with this don't you ”?. “ I do but finding the proof is a bit hard . When we get back Detective Ryan wants to speak to you ”. I nodded ,there were too many thoughts in my mind. “ Dominic?”

“ Yes baby ” ,  “  When we get back home Can I deal with Alyssa myself ”?. He looked up at me “ No . She's not in the right state of mind , she's dangerous and I don't want you getting hurt again ”. “ I won't, I promise but I need to do this ”. “ Okay love you can do whatever you want ”.  “ Thank you ”. 

We were on the jet heading back to New York ,  it was well into the evening when we got to his parents house. They were all outside waiting for us. The minute we got out Elizabeth and Allie came over to me and hugged me. “ Umm Guys you're squishing me” ,I said, trying to breathe. “ Oh I'm so sorry, I'm just happy you're back home we've missed you ”. Elizabeth said smiling 

“ I've missed you guys too ,Are you really sure it's okay for me to be here , I mean people will gossip” , Marcus and Bennett walked over to us  “ People can say whatever they want as long as you and the people around you know the truth and we know you. We want you here and this is where you'll stay ”. “ Thank you Marcus ”.Allie was looking at me with a suspicious smile on her face “ We have a surprise for you”.

“ What surprise”? I asked her but she just kept smiling . “ Let's go ”. She grabbed my hand and led me inside, through the house onto the back porch. When I stepped out I was indeed surprised. “ SURPRISE ”. I couldn't help but cry.  Mel and Tatiana ran over and took me into a big hug “ Welcome home. I missed you so much ”. 

“ I missed you guys too ”. , “ Hey no crying". I started laughing. They were all here . My entire department. I looked at Dominic “ Did you know about this ”? , He looked guilty

 “ No ” ,hmm I would let it go “ Thank you,all of you for being here and wanting me around ”. 

DOMINIC

I left her with everyone outside, I was sitting in my dad's office with Bennett. “ So what's the update ”? I asked them. “ Well  The security guys lost him at an abandoned house. A search of the house showed he'd been staying there for a few months. He had pictures of her from all sorts of activities. He followed her all the way there and was watching her”. 

I stood up and started pacing the room. 

“ How the hell am I going to protect her when we have no idea who's behind this”?.

 “ Marry her ”. I looked at my father. “ If she didn't want to get married because she was pregnant,what makes you think she'll do it now dad ?”. I asked him. “ Then tag her ”. Bennett said.

I sat  looking at the two of them. It seems like I'll have to become the ruthless bastard I once was. One thing at a time I'll talk to her. About getting married if not then I'll tag her . Then I'll be going on a fucking warpath. 

“ Did you and mom talk to her mother”? 

“ We did and she says it's up to Tia . Dominic, don't go killing anyone ”. I just looked at him with the classic confused look.

“ Sorry to say it bro but dad's right. You have that Demented look on your face and that means trouble. Leave it to the FBI and other officials ”. We were in a deadlock about what to do when a few hours later  we heard screaming outside. The door burst open and Allie was standing there smiling.

“ Love what's going on ”?. She looked at her husband and smiled “ Dominic did you know Tia has a nasty temper ?. Alyssa just showed up and started spouting bullshit so Tia's dealing with her ”. I ran straight past her when I stepped out on the porch. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. 

My beautiful, sweet and loving woman that I knew had Alyssa against the wall by her throat. My prim and proper mother,a lawyer, mind you was sitting there drinking a glass of wine while someone was being assaulted in front of her. The rest of her department was no better.  Theses fuckers were smiling and laughing. 

“ So tell me again what's the reason you came here ”?.I stood against the door frame looking at them .  Alyssa tried looking at me “ Oh he won't help you, no one will,  so answer me ”. After saying that she slammed her head against the wall.  I heard my father behind me 

“ Elizabeth?  ”. “ Oh fine ”My mother took her time setting her glass on the table, I could hear Allie snickering. 

“ Tia  Sweetheart, remember not to leave any evidence ”. She looked at my father “ Is that better sweetheart ? ” .  That caused an eruption of laughter from them. This wouldn't stop,  she kept hitting Alyssa's head against the wall . I wasn't going to step in because I didn't fancy her doing the same to me.  “ Bennett stop her and get rid of that girl”. 

“ Nope , that's your woman, you do it ”. Do you want me to die ?”. I asked through gritted teeth. “ So I should die instead”. My father looked at us both and shook his head. He walked over to her and touched her. “ it's okay Tia let her go ,we don't want you getting into trouble ”. I saw her relax then let go of Alyssa. 

“ Don't ever show me your face again. As of this minute the destruction of your life begins. Now get the hell out ”.  Alyssa held her throat and ran off the porch. I looked at all of them. They're were wine bottles and tequila bottles all over. “ You're all drunk , Bennett please get the driver to take them home and not a word of this to anyone  ”.

“ Sure Mr Chase ”. Tatiana said smiling. She watched them all leave one by one , I was heading back inside when I heard her . “ Mel Get the girls and include Tatiana, explain it to her. We'll meet tomorrow at  five ,my place ”. I looked at them. Tatiana had a confused look on her face , Tia looked Determined and Mel was smiling. 

I was stepping out of the shower when she came into the room. I stood looking at her . She looked so damn beautiful. “ Babe ”. 

“ Hmm ”. She was taking off her clothes.

 “ Tia?”, “ Dominic ”. She was being evasive

“ What girls? And why are you meeting?”. She looked everywhere but at me. I Walked over to her, spinning her around to face me .

“ Don't do anything Illegal and if you run into any issues especially with the police you're to call my mom do you understand me?”. She nodded  “don't worry I won't do anything illegal ”.  “Okay also you'll be having two  bodyguards they'll be following you everywhere ”. she opened her mouth as if she was going to say something. I just looked at her sternly “ No Tia . I will allow you to do whatever you want but the guards stay there until we find out who's behind this is that understood?”. “ okay”

“ Why don't you go grab a shower and let's get to bed ”. She wrapped her arms around my neck. “ How about we both take a shower?” . I pulled her into me , that single action heated my blood. I leaned forward, locking her against me . “ Baby if we go there  your back will be against the wall while I fuck you to an inch of your life ”. Her entire body Locked off and she started shuddering . A small moan escaped her lips, Fuck me this woman was mine. I didn't need any confirmation, so I picked  her up and headed back to the shower, looks like there's going to be another fuck marathon tonight.
